Re: BFTG - Blackpool

Also what’s the score with Josh Barrett? I thought in the games he’s played he was quite convincing and yet he didn’t even get a run out today. Not surprised he didnt get a run out.... he couldnt be bothered actually warming up properly and seemed out of breath after just his half-arsed warm-up....

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Anyone clamouring for Barrett and Olise to be included in the first team should have watched tonight- Barrett did absolutely nothing and Olise has skill but just does everything at half pace. Jack Nolan was my Reading player of the match however 18 year old United left winger Traore was the best pl...

Re: 2019/20 Injury Watch

I spoke to Liam Moore after the match and he came off the pitch cos he was knocked out in the second fall. Said his shoulder was hurt in first half but was fine after the match.

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Yeah, exactly that sort of behaviour. But that's probably the mildest example of disrespect tbh. Yeah, sarcastic clapping, walking away when called over, refusing to come when called, kicking the ball away, failing to move the free kick / throw in to where you're told. All worthy of a warning. Squa...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

I got mine yesterday. Most of the writing on it looks like its worn off already. My two sons STs didnt arrive yesterday. I would have thought theyd all come in one envelope. Are your lads already ST holders and under 18? If so they will need to use their existing ST cards They were a couple of seas...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Did anyone else notice that the players wore plain white socks yesterday but the released kit has blue socks with a white and red edging. Wonder if the delay with kits is down to a lack of socks?

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Clever marketing. They were well aware about fans attitudes towards both large sponsorships and betting sponsorships. The mislead itself would have somewhat mitigated the overall sponsorship if they did put a logo on the shirt. The decision to not put a logo on the shirt is a hugely popular decisio...

Re: New sponsor- Confirmed

What about having "Reading FC" across the front in the same font as the sponsor. A bit like a few years ago when Formula 1 wasnt allowed tobacco sponsorship in certain countries. Benson and Hedges became Bitten and Hisses

Re: Feyenoord at MadStad tonight 7pm

I agree that our RB Balogun was poor. Very slow. Surprised he wasnt subbed at HT. I thought Barret was lucky to stay on the pitch after his booking for a foul in the second half and then kicking it away after being booked. I heard the ref say "Josh?..... really?" I thought he tried to do w...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

I went down there last night. It was pretty poor generally. George Legg had no chance to save the goals and made a few good saves when coming way out of his area as his defenders left him high and dry. Our right back (not sure of his name but had what looked like really dodgy blonde highlights) was ...

Re: Post Game Traffic

My self and my two boys (both under 10) went to get a few photos and autogrpahs from the players after the match and wandered back down to the 60f mereoak bus stop at 5.45. Not one bus came past until we gave up at 6.45. We walked back up to the stadium and some RFC staff rang the depot for us. They...

Re: New pitch

They reckon that it is still bedding in but will vastly improve after the Villa game as there are no football or rugby matches on it for 2 weeks. Anyone else notice the pitch was a lot higher than last season? Apparently this is because they didnt dig down deep enough before they applied the sand la...

CountryRoyal Well, at Heathrow having a pint before my flight.

Swift 4 - awful performance from him. Would have got 3 but he got an extra point for a killer tan, maybe the sun got to him a bit and he's suffering from delayed onset heat stroke?

A source at the club tells me its fake tan....

Re: How are you getting to Wembley?

TFF
Wycombe into Wembley was brilliant but everyone's journeys are staggered.

Wembley back to Wycombe was hell - queued for hours to get onto a standing room only train.
