Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by Neil Webb

Both against Forest and against Millwall from the sound of it, we have struggled up front. It’s no surprise due to the reasons already mentioned about Joao being injured etc

I’m not sure if he’ll change it for this match though. I would personally rather see Baldock/Puscas up front and Adam dropped

Re: BFTG Millwall Away

Forget the ratings, the substantive point is we got the tactics wrong. What tactics would have won us the game out if interest - and why should we have changed from what has given us a 9 match unbeaten run? I’ve sympathy with the idea of Going back to 2 up top as I don’t think Baldock or Puscas can...

Re: BFTG Millwall Away

Imagine going to Millwall with the most lightweight midfield in the league. I get the "don't change a winning team" mantra but come on.. have some common sense Millwall were closing us down so quickly, and we weren't going to win any long balls against their massive players. So it was obv...

Re: Rival Watch

Only just seen Phillips’ tackle for the red card. Disgraceful stuff - well deserved 3 match ban

I’m about 95% certain I walked past his victim, Geoff Cameron, in a dodgy part of Southall the other day on my route to work interestingly*

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Eamon Dunphy

He’s had 2 30 min sub appearances after being out for a month

Give him a chance - he was doing ok and scored a hatrick a game before that

And he was fine against Brum

Re: Rival Watch

It's a massive risk though if they don't manage to achieve promotion in the near future IMO because from what I can gather, the deal starts from next season So if it takes them 25 years to get promoted, that's a season ticket for 35 years surely? Wouldn't it be 10 seasons? Or am I completely lost -...

Re: CONFIMRED - Charlie Adam

I’ve only ever seen Adam as a short term option tbh. He has certainly done well and I’ve been impressed - but without Joao I’m not really sure how we get one up top to work (unless we sign a straight replacement)

I do think he’d be the one to go if we did need to go two up front again

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Eamon Dunphy

Even if we lose at Forest we still need to really press on in the league Win 5 in a row again and suddenly your a point or two off again - but it’s more about just build momentum and try to get top 10 - get the club looking up again The problem is the run of fixtures from now until late February ma...

genome Sheff Wed 0-5 Blackburn

Didn’t they beat Leeds 2-0 away in their last game. And Forest 4-0 not long before that

Bloody odd team Wednesday- swing from being brilliant to dire from game to game

Looks like we were very well beaten tbh

Millwall on an absolute roll at the moment so not especially surprised

Another very tough game up next as well

Really don’t see the point of Miazga and McIntyre on the bench though

No you don’t understand football - they’re the best side in the league by far.

To be fair I never claimed to :)

One of their 2 best players out for 3 games as well now

Gomes played his part in turning things around. We were near rock bottom when he came in. But was absolutely the right decision to sack him when we did

Classic Fulham - urinating all over Boro but you still think they could concede at any moment

With the quality they have they should be walking this division

Re: Rumour - the first of the Brazilians ?

tidus_mi2 Where the oxf*rd we getting this extra money to supposedly spend €7m?

Supposedly a structured deal with small up front fee like Puscas

Potentially financed from selling Loader/Nolan/Barrett/Mannone and any other old shit we have hanging around
