Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

Extended-Phenotype Excellent work from Danny K there. Still baffles me why people are so down on him.

Because that’s literally the first time he’s done that all season. He’s capable but for whatever reason just not done it so far.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

We're not as shit as people think, and I'm sure we'll pick up. So we should win imo. Then everyone will decide we'll make the POs because we won an away game and Richardson is the second coming, only for us to fluff the next game and we're back to being the worst team in the history of the division...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

Looking at the table, it’s quite a big game this isn’t it?

Think we’ll do quite well to get anything from it

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

Just curious but do we know what's up with Burns since we haven't seen him for a few weeks. Likewise, what is Lane's injury and was Jacob left out by the manager or injured? Yeah, he's shit. The sensible answer is not really sure. Been no sight of either him or Jacob. Murmurs of an injury to both b...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

There will always be those that criticise blindly if we don't win games but on here (one can always hope) the comments are generally more considered and people are looking for reasons. Unfortunately on Saturday once again when there has been a biggish crowd with some newbies and kids looking for en...

Re: What to do with the troublesome AM role?

I'd keep Jacob. Dorsett could be needed at CB, either in the case of injury or switching to a back 3. Ryan hasn't impressed me, and whilst he can play there, I'd rather we weren’t relying on Garcia. Yes, both Abrefa and Yids can cover too, but that's starting to stretch things and steal from elsewh...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

Obvs people on here and esp crappy Twitter were going to be negative etc after the game, but I’m not totally sure what people were expecting. Suddenly start pinging the ball round like prime Barcelona and smashing every team we come across? Same basic issues are there - lack of a suitable striker, ...

Re: What to do with the troublesome AM role?

It’s always just pure speculation when people say ‘we’d have won if xxxx was on the pitch’ KE and Marriott are totally different players. Marriott probably wouldn’t have got the chances KE had - certainly not the first when he took it past the keeper - but may have got others instead It’s all pretty...

Re: What to do with the troublesome AM role?

Tbf you’re talking about the best side in the country who have spent many years investing and building a squad to fit their managers vision. We’re not that. We’ve hardly got a Declan Rice or Eze knocking about the squad Agree with some of your sentiments though - esp the attacking options. Hopefully...

Re: What to do with the troublesome AM role?

Agree on the loans and would be looking to loan further players out as well - hopefully will give us the space to bring in a decent CF to play the system. Kelvin is always going to split opinions but he’s done reasonably well but still prefer him out wide Not sure when Elliott is back fit (if ever) ...

Re: What to do with the troublesome AM role?

Doyle has arguably been the biggest disappointment of the season He looks like he should be made for the role but just hasn’t performed With the shape, Lane has ended up in that position a fair bit when attacking. So probably him if anyone. But I think we could change to 4-1-4-1 with Lane or Ritchie...

Snowflake Royal Can't say I saw a whole lot of anything from Garcia.

He looked lively and wanted the ball but didn’t do anything hugely significant

Thought the game was crying out for Kyerewaa :P

Hmmm

Tbf I’ve never said he couldn’t be quite an effective sub to bring on in such a game

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

Really surprised Rhino didn't get some game time, if you're on the bench then you must be fit enough to play? Would have thought with 30 mins to go and with us struggling to get anything going that would be an ideal time for him to sit deep and break up play allowing Wing and Savage to get forward....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

Interesting reading, I didn’t get to see any of it as I was at work. Overall, a good point against a team much higher in the table than us and one who had not conceded in a while, good to be two games unbeaten in the league under LEAM. I think a lot of the mixed reviews comes down to those who were...
