They were (based on one dribble/run I think). They aren’t any more

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by Neil Webb

Richards is certainly quick. Maybe not compared to Traore but he is proper fast, maybe the fastest in the league. I think I already appreciate what a quick winger can bring tbf without needing to watch him. tbh the best we'd be likely to get is some sort of Josh Sims type who would add little. McCle...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by Neil Webb

Whilst this fixture should be relatively straightforward, we must be extremely cautious of the quality possessed by Harry Arter. A player of his calibre could really cause us problems. I hope those lucky enough to be in the stadium tomorrow are appreciative of being so lucky to be witnessing him pe...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by Neil Webb

Without continuously banging the “winger” drum, really think one would have been useful to bring on the right hand side on Wednesday, especially without Meite Even though they had quite a few players defending in their box and for what you’d normally associate with a Pulis team, they didn’t look to...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by Neil Webb

Swift is probably the best player in the league that is unlikely to make it into the first XI. How many teams can boast a player of his quality that might not start? Although given how Pauno has used Semedo ahead of Olise, Swift might be straight back into the team. All I know is at least 9 positio...

Re: BFTG Wednesday

know this is a terrible justification for a position, but worth noting Ovie is equal third on the whoscored for the Champ along with Joao.

Re: BFTG Wednesday

Just heard Pulis's interview - in fairness he admitted we could have had 2 pens, a lot of managers wouldn't have. He also said we'd spent big on forwards; last night by my calcs starting 11 forwards/offensive players cost £8.5m - is that big for the championship? Meite and Olise cost nothing They'v...

Re: BFTG Wednesday

I thought the subs were the right ones , but probably 10-15 mins too late. Esteves could have come on at ht, and Aluko certainly offered more than Rino in the final third. Ok, So we were never really troubled defensively so Holmes and Rino seem wasted. BUT. Holmes gives us extra height and strength...

Re: BFTG Wednesday

no agreed I dont particularly like him taking the ball off the CBs. tried to watch the highlights to see why he did on this one, but doesn't show him losing it sadly

Quite like the fact the highlights basically just show the goals and then the 4 dodgy pen decisions though

Re: BFTG Wednesday

Those so called “championship experts” who give their opinion on team of the week are no more valid than anyone else’s opinions. Grow up Ejaria didn’t come inside and take the ball of the CB’s feet against Bristol, he stayed relatively wide. Yesterday, he came too deep, too central, did his usual t...

Re: BFTG Wednesday

Suspect that's because you weren't looking. Generally speaking if you're playing wide you should be playing wide rather than cutting inside all the time. People would rather he played centrally than wide maybe, but if he's in the team as the wide player that's where he needs to be. Because someone ...

Re: BFTG Wednesday

Didn`t see people critical of Ejaria when he moved inside and scored on Saturday, lots of fans think he is wasted out wide then when he moves central you moan. Suspect that's because you weren't looking. Generally speaking if you're playing wide you should be playing wide rather than cutting inside...

Re: BFTG Wednesday

yeah i'm a bit bored of the Ovie criticism tbh. He put in some lovely balls and is a constant threat. One of the classic ask the opposition manager if they want to play against him or not. He doesn't always slow the play down, he just keeps possession at times rather than throw the ball in. Very ra...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (a) sponsored by Jack Witham

Think like Obita, it’s time for him to drop down to L1, or at the very least a similar level to McCleary Another one filed away as a strange signing overall, clearly was a decent player but we only really played to his strengths for about 5% of his time here and coincidentally, it’s been his best r...

Re: BFTG Wednesday

For the record Holmes has played 542 minutes this season and we have conceded 6 goals whilst he is on the pitch. Esteves has played 525 minutes and we have conceded 13 goals whilst he is on the pitch. I rest my case. Not sure you can exactly blame Esteves for many of those goals though. 2 or 3 mayb...

Re: BFTG Wednesday

I'd certainly have been happy for Aluko to come on for Semedo instead of Rino, but I think Semedo did the same job as Rino anyway after he came on. And wasn't against given Rino a bit of a rest when he wasn't needed in all honesty With Baldock, I think you're hoping for a bit of his penalty box nous...
