Re: BBC Berks Reading FC Podcast interviews

Marcus Hahnemann one is up, interesting story (Which he also told on BBC Berks before the Luton game) about the Reading delegation going to a reserve game to watch Marcus but he wasn't playing, but they saw him warming up the goalkeeper who was playing and then booting all the balls back from the go...

Re: Green park station/south Reading station

Does it? Where has this been announced? I used the words might and assuming...... no idea yet what the situation will be. I doubt any random rocking up to Reading station will get to Green Park for free, but if you're travelling from say Paddington to Green Park you may find it's the same price as ...

Re: Green park station/south Reading station

For people travelling from the town centre and back - does this provide any real benefit over the bus? It might be cheaper if you're travelling to Reading by train, assuming "Reading or Reading West" on the ticket becomes "Reading, Reading West or Green Park". Does it? Where has...

Re: Have we sold the Mad Stad to the owners/someone else?

Been discussed here a fair bit. It’s an accounting thing, same people still own the club and the stadium but when it was done it gave the club a cash injection. Likewise the training ground. It’s daft in many ways because the owners would by all accounts have just invested the money but that isn’t ...

John Smith
URZZZZZZZZ This tweet pissed me off the other day, it’s a perfect example of the ridiculous contradictory knee jerk bollocks spouted on Twitter.

Not sure what the issue is with that?
Typo in thw tweet?

Re: BFTG - Luton

Yes - and then had the recurring hamstring injuries the season after That was a horror season for him tbh. Just handed a big 5 year deal, team playing crap, and clueless medical staff not having a clue how to treat it . Think he basically said in the end it just sorted itself out - all a bit weird ...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

I noted is that Mark McNulty's Dad liked McClearys post on twitter Hmm... could there yet be a future for McNulty at Reading under Bowen? - He signed a 4 year contract in 2018, he's 27 and he's currently on loan at Sunderland so will presumably be back with us at some point unless we accept a trans...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

I really didn't like the way Gomes decided to deal with the players he didn't want. One thing I noted is that Mark McNulty's Dad liked McClearys post on twitter - there's a fair group of players that have felt hard-done-by because of how they've been treated since January and probably bonded over i...

Re: BFTG - Luton

Swift is not the player Stam bought, he is certainly not the player of the last two seasons. In the last 2/3 games he’s played at the highest level and been effective, it’s like a new signing. And when he doesn’t work there’s Ejaria.... bit difficult for opposition to shutdown both of these players...

Re: Ade Williams

That’s interesting I always thought Sidders was offered £50k a week plus by Chelsea and we offered £25 k Sidwell didn't quote any numbers, but apparently Reading offered alot more than Chelsea, This was after we secured premier league status but by that time he had made his mind up having been able...

Re: Ade Williams

was disappointed the McDermott one didn’t get into his time and Leeds and the return to Reading. Me too, but I reckon they'll be a McDermott part 2 at some point in the future..... maybe he signed an NDA or two and can't talk about these things for a set period of time? (although if there is an NDA...

Re: Ade Williams

was disappointed the McDermott one didn’t get into his time and Leeds and the return to Reading. Aldo thought Kitson came across as being “different” to create a niche for himself, despite him saying he hated the notoriety. If that’s the case, keep your head down and mouth shut and stay out of the ...

Re: Ade Williams

Williams writes his name as Ady, I believe as a player the programmes etc refered to him as Adie.... this thread is titled Ade.

Maybe he rebranded himself for radio? Adie the player, Ady the radio personality? or maybe we've just got it wrong all this time... or he's got it wrong?

Re: Ade Williams

Hampshire Royal We've won te league championship twice since Cantona won it for Leeds.
To be fair, the trophy was awarded to winners of the top tier back then, we've only won it (twice) as winners of the second tier..... impressive, but literally not in the same league.

Hendo I, for one, absolutely h8 all the newfangled position classifications.
I hate the bloody squad numbers too, especially when 1-11 are allocated out of position.

Notts Royal Is Lord CKS on hobnob? What a pleb he is. Must be up there with the most offensive, abusive & downright horrible of the Twitter knobs!

Has he threatened to kill or rape someone then?
Throw in a bit or racism and you've got your standard non-celebrity twitter user profiled.

Re: Fans Forum with Mark Bowen Oct 29

I think they are doing a write up themselves. Presumably this will be distributed to STAR Members to read in about 6-12 months time then? - probably long after Bowen has been sacked after losing his first game? There's been a summary on their website for days Forbes. My apologies to STAR then, turn...
