Re: Scott Twine

Assuming we sign Chair, Twine might be useful if Chair gets injured.

Re: Snog, marry, avoid

Call me sexist but I would go for:
Snog - Danielle Carter
Marry - Amalie Eikeland
and avoid Jess Fischlock as she looks a bit scary.

Re: Rival Watch

This midweek round of fixtures could start to see a gap growing. Of the chasing pack - Bristol have to go to Norwich, whilst Stoke go to Rotherham and Boro head to an improving Forest. Could easily see all 3 dropping points and with Barnsley travelling to Watford, if we and Watford both win - then ...

Re: Brentford game postponed

The good news is that the fixture list post NY is much less full than the end of 2020.

I make it that after 10th February we still have 4 clear midweeks without a game and so even allowing for some postponements it would be a tad unlucky not to be able to finish the season on schedule.

Re: Big Striker

Apparently Daniel Wright at Torquay United has been watched by Reading and Norwich. Anybody know anything about him? Bit of a beast it seems. Might be a bit rough for our pure tactics. Don't think he plays at a high enough level to make the step up. I think Akinfenwa of Wycome would be a better bet...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

I thought today was supposed to be free to air if you have BT WiFi but have tried logging in to my BT account but it keeps saying I need to pay £25 for a monthly pass which is not worth it for one match. Any ideas? It’s on BT Sport extra ‘6’ if you have BT TV. I have watched free to air stuff on BT...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

Just remembered that Sam Smith's loan ends today and so maybe he will be in the squad - although he has not exactly had a great loan at Tranmere.

Re: Rumour - Richards to Everton

I cannot help thinking that Richards would be making a big mistake by leaving at this time. At Bayern he will be a reserve, whereas at Reading he is one of the first names on the team sheet. If I was his agent I would advise him to sign a one year extension - which I am sure RFC would be happy to of...

windermereROYAL That Derby pundit`s comment is beyond embarrassing.

I don't know they are a big club you know. I think we should offer him to them with bids starting at £100M. As they are such a big club they could surely afford that much.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

I’d like to see a full second string. Don’t really care about winning. Protect the important players and give some of the better youngsters a taste of match action. Southwood; Watson, Dorsett, Abbey, Bristow, Semedo, East, Onen, Lawless, Baldock, Puscas Expect McIntyre, Esteves and Swift will play ...

Re: BFTC - Huddersfield

Re Ejaria. I spent a lot of time watching him closely today and he really is important to this team as he retains possession well, regains possession a lot and is deceptively fast. I can see why he is one of the first names on Pauno’s team sheet every week. Most weeks he is a 6 or a 7 out of 10 play...

Re: Olise being sold for £8m?

Seems like somebody at the club has totally shit the bed in the last 18 months regarding contract renewals. We did not have the ability to offer new contracts last summer due to the FFP rules. Best chance of holding on to our best players is to gain promotion and then most will re-sign I expect. Th...

Re: Any updates?

Why should we surrender to him, or indeed anyone else? That's what they want us to do. If we plod on regardless, refusing to change our way of life in the face of this existential threat, then we will ultimately win. If we move this thread to AE, we have lost the battle for the soul of the team boa...

Who is this andrew1957 - We don't even know his name or how old he is? Ok I will fess up. I am really called Colin and was born in 1956 and I also post on here as Jagermesiter as I love to have an argument with myself. Hi Andrew. With everyone having to lockdown further and Christmas at risk, do you think the government have taken the right approach? On one reading some might think your previous posts were a bit shortsighted, but in another way you might feel vindicated. Hope everyone remains healthy in the 1957 ...

You know you're making a ridiculously stupid point when Millsy comes across as clued up and smart. Precisely, 40,000 disease experts & scientists. So thats probably 0 disease experts, 0 virologists and 40,000 primary school science teachers who have been given $100 by Exxonmobil to sign a paper...
