Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (a) sponsored by Deniss Rakels

I only usually post in the prediction league, but I'd like to become more a poster, so here it goes. As, I guess, we're more or less safe from the drop, let's try something a bit different. Rafael Osho Morrison McIntyre Richards Swift Olise Pelé Ejaria Baldock Meite I think this would work because w...

Re: The next 5 games - a key point in our season

Really think two wins will be enough. Perhaps 4 points might even be enough. As already said, those teams below us are the ones we NEED to and SHOULD beat. Yesterday was atrocious. Yes, Brentford are a good team, but has the manager not learnt from his mistakes. Ejaria played better when he was behi...

Re: BFI Player

Agree with most comments. The pen was incredibly soft, even in real time. Should’ve gone to the guy earlier in the move, but no one did. The challenge was 50/50, in my opinion. Ejaria, swift and olise together hasn’t worked up to now. We need a re-think. Is Gomes (Pele) injured? Olise looked v good ...

Re: BFIFollow

Watched until the 75th Minute. We looked good. Didn’t see either of the goals. I hope Joao isn’t injured, hopefully it was cramp. Looked really sad when he came off. If we could see out games, then we’d be in with a higher position. If we play some slick footie against Derby, we could win. Agree wit...

Hi, just a quick one. I'm not a season-ticket holder, but I'm a subscriber to iFollow. I can't get it to work anywhere (Safari, Google Chrome etc). It says that my access is blocked from this location. Before Corona it worked fine, why can't I access it? EDIT: I've done as it says to change the sett...

I'll take unlucky 13 please. It has to come up trumps sometime.

Re: 25 years ago today

I don’t think you could have started Quinn ahead of an in form Nogan. Not for me. Quinn would have buried the pen though. No doubt. Archie also missed another great chance just before half time. We should have been at least 3-0 up at half time with them down to ten. There would have been no way bac...

Re: 25 years ago today

I was 5 at the time, but I don't have any memories of it. Looking back at the first half highlights, that side played some top class football. I watched until half time, then didn't want to watch anymore. A things came up: Challenge on Gooding was, in my opinion, a pen. Lovell never looked like he ...

Re: The effect of the break

I reckon it could have a little of a negative effect on the side. We were having a little run before the break. Maybe it might be like a lengthened international break. Like OP said, we're safe, but only 6 behind the play-offs. Maybe those sides in the play-offs might falter. We will see when we get...

Another one I have in my mind was Mr Woo and then there was that jack Russell terrier who could control the ball really well. Both were around the early noughties at the Mad Stad. Anyone remember them?

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

Anyone for Uri 'I bend your spoon with my mind' Geller. Is it really true that he was invited to make a half-time team talk at Elm Park in the early / mid 90s? I am a bit too young to remember that. Only started watching us the season of the failed play-off final against Bolton in '95.
