Re: Hob nob on a smartphone

Scutterbucketz Any ideas for anyone who doesn’t want to add another paid subscription into the ever increasing mix?

It’s manageable on iPad but on iPhone the site becomes unusable.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2024/25

Interesting stat I’ve just seen

97% of former cat 1 academy players now aged 21 to 26 never made a Premier League appearance.

70% weren't handed a pro contract at an EPL or EFL club. And only 1 in 10 went on to make more than 20 league appearances in the top four tiers of English football.

If this transfer goes through we will receive part of a 5% solidarity payment for having Jamie Bynoe-Gittens at the club between the ages of 12-23.

Would receive some of the €2.5m for his time at #ReadingFC

Re: Ex Royals

Borussia Dortmunds Bynoe-Gittens (Born in Reading) and at Reading from 2013-18 has just had an offer from Chelsea for 42 million!! I believe Reading got him on a youth contract from Chelsea. Don't suppose anyone inserted a sell on clause by any chance   https://hobnob.royals.org/forum/...

Re: Ex Royals

JedMaxwell I went to Marlow the other week to just fanny about for the day with my wife, and I was convinced I saw Nicky Shorey. So much so that we followed this guy quite a long way down the river to try and get a good look. It was not Nicky Shorey, it was a random man, is what I told the police officer.

Re: Season Tickets 25/26

apparently we have sold about the same as last year as of Monday. last year we had 7941 season ticket holders. i would imagine then we could be looking at 10k season ticket holders this year.

Quite surprised by that. But a good opportunity for him. I’m sure we will replace him well.

Re: OFFISHAL CONFRIMATION of the CONFIMRED

It’s kinda strange there has been nothing official from the club about the new investment. Despite them announcing it on LinkedIn about a week or so ago. I would have thought there would have been some sort of statement Because it is subject to FL approval ? Possibly, but they posted it on LinkedIn...
