katweslowski Club news - Steve Coppell will be in attendance.

I really do feel the takeover is or has happened

There was a fans event at the Turtle last Sunday which he was guest at and he did say he was toying with the idea of attending.

Brian McDermott also joining Tim Dellor on commentary :?

Re: CONFIMRED - The 2nd final countdown

Tim Dellor just posted that Brian McDermott also in attendance and I think will be on commentary duties.

So that's The Amazons, Sir Steve Coppell, and Brian McDermott. I'm starting to get very excited....

Re: CONFIMRED - The 2nd final countdown

I know very little about the whole thing, but I've seen a few tweets where people suggest he's the nephew or relative of one of the Thai owners. There's other things which do seem to back it up. ... Something very big is happening clearly. I think others are right, the Amazons, big drive for fans, S...

Re: CONFIMRED - The 2nd final countdown

Twitter rumours circulating (from that HK guy mainly) that takeover will officially be today or tomorrow. Assuming this does go through, I wonder when the club will choose to announce it. I'm with others, that I hope it is on Saturday as it will really make the day special - regardless of results. A...

Re: Best/Worst Pundit

Alan Shearer has to be one of the most intolerable commentators going. He's so difficult to listen to, he speaks in endless cliches and he kind of talks in a weirdly distorted voice when trying to make a point. I saw online lots of positive comments about Rooney which I agree with. Seeing him on lot...

Re: Best/Worst Pundit

Reading between the lines of their statement I wouldn't be surprised to see Eni Aluko let go by ITV Quoted, to save people having to look - as I had to (poor nobbing genome  ): "As one of the UK's most respected and much-loved footballers and sporting broadcasters, with a career spann...

Re: Modern football things you don't like

Tifo's in British grounds. just feels very try-hard I saw there was a new post here and just knew it would be about tifos. Villa did one too and maybe Newcastle - none of them look good. They're way too small and tame looking, often just looking very sad and like you say "trying too hard"...

Re: Champions League, Europa League & Europa Conference League 24/25

Arsenal vs PSG Mindnumbingly dull. My dead Great Grandmother had more life in her than the Arsenal crowd who barely made a noise. It was hard to watch the game as it was endlessly stopped by the ref, with some really odd decisioons. The worst of which was a so-called foul that Saka committed on the ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

They should go full hog, get a chopper to lower down the match ball again, then get the Amazons on the actual pitch with equipment to play Black Magic live.

Then couhig can come out with a contract in his hand to announce he's bought the club

WestYorksRoyal If the deal gets done, surely not even a dismal performance would ruin the atmosphere?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h)

Looking at the tweets of people sharing the updates to available seats, I did wonder if the Y19 drum turns people off sitting there, always one of the last seats to go. Yea it could be that. I thought 1871 has a drum too though? I rarely hear the Y19 one. Maybe it's because it's a bit of a no-mans ...

It's amazing that Ange still hasn't been sacked by Tottenham - he's been very lucky to basically last the season.

Winston Biscuit Every club having a player or manager that goes over to the fans at the end of the game and does 3 fist pumps which the crowd all cheer

Yea agree totally with this. Every game I watch on TV or footage I see online ends with this now, all a bit lame and unoriginal

Amazing atmosphere in the ground and my first ever visit to Bristol Rovers. Seems a great club and a shame our result puts them firmly in the relegation spots. The atmosphere was absolutely top notch - a real proper away day, with a packed away end (both parts), with inflatables adding a bit of extr...

Pretty sure more money can be made from the stadium, Other than acting as a finish line for the Half Marathon, Have there been any events other than Reading FC matches held there in the past 2 or 3 years? Aside from events in the actual conference rooms - no (unless they're so small to be just insi...
