Re: CONFIMRED - The 2nd final countdown

Are we still under a suspended points deduction for pitch invasions? I'm assuming that the club's message is more about protecting any chance of the play offs from an EFL that is at the end of its tether with us!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (h)

Thought Campbell was poor.

Biggest issue seems to be playing Wing so deep. Perhaps starting Carroll in that role, putting Wing up the pitch with Savage and having Knibbs either up front or as a winger ahead of anyone!

Kelv and Garcia both hooked as there was a real risk of a second yellow.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (h)

Garcia put us in trouble twice in the opening 5 minutes, Campbell is bang average and keeps losing the ball.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wrexham (h)

Can't disagree with the red, I hate time wasting and am always whinging when it's done to us - seemed a fair cop. However I would question what our senior players were doing, they should've got someone else to take it who wasn't on a yellow, that's the bit that frustrated me - brainless.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h)

Observations… Birmingham must have had a long journey, given the time they spent lying down. Kelvin is a better winger than number 9. Wareham was excellent when he came on, won more in the air than “Big Kelv” and held the ball up better. Campbell is average and seems utterly disinterested. Would rat...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Shrewsbury Town (h)

The worst I can recall us playing this season. Campbell looked like he was running in treacle through the first half, Savage's passing was below his normal high standard and Craig was a complete liability - ran under the ball for the goal. We still look disorganised in defence, Wing comes back to he...

Re: Rumour - Sam Smith to Wrexham

To be honest I think administration is the only route out of this mess and to get Dai out. £2m will only tie us over until the summer and that's if Dai doesn't take a cut for himself. Administration is the only way out of this and I feel it will need to be the fans who force it by not buying season...

Re: Confimred - Billy Bodin signs

Having watched the clips on him...

- Seems to be able to score of either foot (assuming left footed though)
- Decent touch for L1 (albeit in promotional clips)
- Good leap and scores with his head, despite being short

Basically, Noel Hunt has signed Noel Hunt!

Re: Rumour - Sam Smith to Wrexham

If we had a replacement I wouldn’t be overly bothered. He’s a good L1 striker, who we're making a good profit on. The money from this will keep us afloat for a few more months, making a sale more likely than administration. I do though wonder how close we are to another penalty for not publishing ac...

The whole second half we were very very loose at the back, a complete lack of shape, leaving us wide open.

Re: January transfer window

Could be a good deal. Ed Johnson @EdJohnsonSport · 15m Leicester City are keen on Reading defender Tyler Bindon. They want to leave the Kiwi international on loan at Reading for the rest of the season, and then bring him into the fold in summer Read the 15 minute bit as £15 million initially and go...

Re: Rumour - Sam Smith to Huddersfield

skipper Isn't Sam one of our own? From our Youth set up?

He was desperate to come back. He won't be going anywhere.

He, Harvey and Lewis were lied to about the state and future of the club when they signed, really can't blame any of them for leaving for more stability.

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai Action/Inaction Group

Had an interesting exchange with a Stockport supporter on Friday evening who said that there will be a few of their lads turning up for the game in January. He also suggested that another pitch invasion should happen soon, based on the publicity that it generated last time. I pointed out the points...

Lino missed that their target man was always offside from a goal kick (happened every time).

You can’t be offside from a goal kick.

Or at any time when the ball is played back into field of play, having been played out? i.e. Goal kick, corner & throw in.

Ah, well that's me learnt!

Felt we were let down by some poor performances by individuals. Lino missed that their target man was always offside from a goal kick (happened every time). Savage was off from the first minute, kept misplacing passes and missing tackles (first goal). Elliott & Mbengue (prior to hurting himself ...

Re: Noel Hunt Confrimed

I reckon the greater concern is if Smith or Wing go. Campbell leaving will also be a blow, however I doubt the EFL will let us extend his stay. If Garcia goes it frankly isn't the end of the world, Bindon would be a shame - however he's cearly far too good for this level and we have plently of centr...
