Re: Ade Williams

When Leeds came to us last season. I thought they were the best team we'd played and I was certain they'd go up.As usual, though, they messed it up. Maybe it was the expectation, I don't know. When we played Huddersfield at Wembley, I was talking to a couple of their fans who, of course, were deligh...

Ade Williams

As a player, Ade was excellent for us, and he isn't bad as a presenter on BBCRB. The only thing that annoys me about him is whenever he mentions Leeds, he always says 'Leeds, Leeds, 'Leeds'. Why? What's special about them? As far as I know, the only people who say this Re Leeds fans (arguably the mo...

Re: BFTG Preston (H)

I liked the way Baldock tried up his laces after the goal. He did one very slowly (in their half, of course,) then just as slowly did the second one.

If PNE had done that I would've been annoyed. But it was us, so I was pleased and impressed.

Re: BFTG Preston (H)

I know Barney has been a fan since at least 1967 (we hitch hiked to Stockport in 67/68). I also know that Victor has been a fan for a long time. Mind you, I'm not aware that Barney supports another team, like Liverpool, for example.

Re: BFTG Preston (H)

This was a very good performance. People are saying that PNE weren't very good. My view was that we stopped them being good. There weren't many negatives. The biggest was that on a few occasions, players weren't moving for throw ins. This was the biggest problem under Gomes. I hope that Bowen will s...

Re: GOMES OUT!

Discriminating against disabled people? Of course not. I didn't know BROBOT was disabled. If he is then I have enormous respect for anyone who spends their life helping an arsehole like him.

genome BR0BOT vs Hampshire Royal

Unexpected beef of the week

There's no beef. It's just that BROBOT is an arsehole of the first order. I can't really believe he knows enough words to write seven and a half thousand posts. He must have been helped by his carer.

Re: Next Manager

Keane is working as a pundit on the England games. I don't know whether Hughes is working as a pundit on the Wales games. It would be impossible to name either of them before the internationals finish so it is possible that it's one of those two. I wouldn't be happy if it was Keane (remembering his ...

Re: Next Manager

Hughes in talks with the owner today according to the one who broke the Gomes out story, his agent was at the training ground today I'm going to go full conspiracy theory on this one: When it looked like we might do well this season, Bowen, as football director, advised Gomes to make changes to the...

It'll be Bowen's great mate Hughes. That was, after all, the reason Bowen was appointed.

Re: GOMES OUT!

If Hughes is the next manager, will he bring he bring Gunter back into the fold?

For reasons I never understood Gunter was made a scapegoat for everything that went wrong at Reading. I have no doubt that bringing him back will improve the team.

Re: Blue-collar streetfood

club will be taking a bit of a beating on food sales I reckon. hope the licence fee for blue collar was substantial I thought that the food concessions inside the stadium didn't belong to the club but were franchises (like BCS), so the club aren't actually losing any money. What may happen is that ...

Re: Blue-collar streetfood

I was surprised to see someone tucking into one of those over-priced crappy hot dogs that they sell inside the stadium when they could have had what IMO is a much, much better (and larger) sausage in a decent toasted roll + loads of different toppings from Heavenly Sausage outside. Doubt there is m...

Re: Blue-collar streetfood

If I wasn't at the ground, I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a greasy burger, a bland hot dog or a luke warm pie. The food for sale outside the ground (at least that which I've had) is excellent and I would buy it if I wasn't at the ground. It's not a question of whether it's Ox heart or something ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (a) sponsored by Steve Francis

Glen Little really overstating how good 'uddersfield have been. Loads of possession and great pressing in the first 25 mins, but their best chance was the penalty that wasn't given Glen Little just couldn't understand why Puskas wasn't starting, and has run us down ever since. He was a fantastic pl...
