Wigan away, November 30th.

I'm up for this. Happy coincidence I'm in Manchester that weekend so a short hop in truth. Will be having a pie while in Wigan.

Re: BFTT

URZZZZ Puscas is terribly slow.

I noticed that when he ran half the length of the pitch outpacing their defence and slotting it in the net.

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

Obviously I wish him well and I offer the team my full support..but I feel like this is very bad news. Anything that's not relegation would be a sucessfull season now. Same. But I think now is the time for us as a fanbase to ready ourselves for the real prospect of relegation. I mean, who doesn’t f...

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

The club statement seems to imply that it was Bowen who was responsible in the main for us staying up last season rather than Gomes does it not?

Re: BFT ???????????????????????????????????????????

Had a sickening feeling that Swift would get sent off following the first booking. He seemed to go out there like a man possessed (not necessarily a bad thing as it shows passion) and the first booking looked bad but in reality wasn't, made worse by the Fulham players doing a number on the ref. With...

Re: BFTG Boro

I'd also like to make a shout out to Middlesbrough as a much better than expected away day. Its consistently voted the worst place to live in the UK, but it's a nice walk from the station to the ground. There was also a great pub next to the station showing the cricket and early and late kick offs....

Re: The Danny Loader conundrum

If it's correct that he would get bullied in league one etc then surely sending him out to a so-called soft league in Holland or Belgium is counter intuitive.

A more likely solution would be to lock him a room with a raw steak and medicine ball and have him wrestle a grizzly bear for a few days.

Re: BFTG - The miracle of Carrow Road.

Norfolk Royal would know better as he was at the game but it looked to me as though the two right full-backs actually both played at right-back, presumably to negate the known attacking ability of Norwich from left-back. At times Yiadom seemed to move further across to between what would have been ...

Re: BFTG - The miracle of Carrow Road.

love the pic from the Norwich game of Walker and Gunter. Two fringe players who could feel aggrieved but instead wildly celebrating. Barrow, Baker on the pitch as well. Dunno how he has done it but he has certainly created a great spirit, while also managing to get rid of a number of seemingly popu...

Re: BFTG - The miracle of Carrow Road.

Just read the player ratings in the local Eastern Daily Press up here. Moore got a 6 - 'baffled by Pukki movement' and Miazga also a 6 - 'struggled on the floor.' Most of our other players got a 7. While their captain Zimmerman, who admittedly had a good game and scored a goal but had little defendi...

Re: BFTG - The miracle of Carrow Road.

Gomes' tactics Spot on it seems. 5 at the back, a pacey and a strong player up front who caused them havoc when they had the chance. At 2-2 we hand it to him as a brilliant stroke of genius. BUT at 2-1 I was cursing him for doing the same old bullshit of trying to hold onto 1-0. How many times have...
