Re: Next seasons kit choice?

That’s to come.... But I do know the truth about how the comic relief shirts come about but not sure if that’s already been spoken about. Was it a potential away kit scraped at the last minute after 5000 produced? No - opposite, home kit!! Owners didn’t appreciate what the backlash would of been. W...

Re: On this day

Despite achieving so much in the last 15 years or so, I am so embittered every year when the playoffs come round and three teams get to enjoy the thrill of winning them. From a football point of view, this is the most heartbreaking time of year for me, and that will never go until we actually win on...

Re: Rival Watch

I like Sheffield United as a club, but Wilder behaved appalling when we played them at home a couple of years back - it all revolved around that goal they scored when in reality they should have given us the ball back. That goal was last season on the coldest night I have ever watched a game. The g...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

The Dolan Stand on Twitter has made a very good point to supporters wanting a season ticket in the South Stand next season. If you already have a season ticket elsewhere in the stadium, you can move it permanently for the Birmingham game, thus giving you first refusal on renewing it before season t...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Yep, smashed it again today.

How many times have we genuinely outsung West Brom in the past? We’ve certainly never done it at Madejski Stadium.

From what I’ve heard, our perilous financial situation is going to scupper our chances of signing any of the loan players

Re: The League of 4

We had an absolutely shocker of a minute today whereby Barrow missed a one on one, Hull took the lead shortly after, AND Rotherham took the lead in their match.

percy_freeman No. Was he really that good?

He was only good in the final stages of his contracts.

Re: Financial Fair Play

Quite a bit of character assassination of Stam from trawling trough the thread, which goes against what I’ve heard from some of the people I know at the club. I appreciate it’s easy to tar Stam with the same brush as Gourlay, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. A lot of the signings in summ...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

The ref was negligibly bad today, to the point where his actions (or lack of) at times could be directly attributed to injuries.

Wigan shot themselves in the foot, as if they’d bothered trying to play football they’d have probably come away with the win.

A very sweet win

Re: £5 Comic Relief Red Reading Footy shirt

I heard none of the management even bothered to be in yesterday. No need for them to be in. Shirts sold, refunds being applied, other staff able to deal with enquiries. Job done. On face value yes, however I would be absolutely mortified if one of my subordinates would have been fed to the wolves i...

Re: BFTG Rotherham

The usual knee jerk nonsense in here I see. It's not though is it? People are saying the same things they've said all season about games against the teams around us and our inability topit the game away. These players continually fail to learn week after week and produce the same mistakes over and ...

Zip Surprised there hasn’t been more praise for Swift’s fantastic pass to Oliveira for the winner. It was fabulous

This.

Also, the run from Richards did a great job in allowing Nelson the space to score. A lovely goal all told.
