Re: Rival Watch

Huddersfield look a bit shit right now. Might get a bit of revenge enjoyment out of pushing them towards relegation, probably not though. Nothing against Huddersfield but I was pleased to see they lost as most of the others at the bottom won. 7 matches left, we have a seven point cushion, with Bren...

Make the players wear suits with a flower in their lapels on Cup Final day. Which must be a Saturday at 3pm. The players go out onto the hallowed turf at 1 pm, in their suits and get all nervous. No iPods/ headphones allowed.

Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

I am a traditionalist, but the League Cup is a joke, not worth it. The premiership sides certainly do not take it seriously.

Same goes for the FA Cup tbh tbf. Unfortunately. Early rounds are good.

Re: The Bundesliga Hobnob battle thread 19/20

There is a problem with the chart, the path led me to Kaiserslautern , who are local to me, so great. But they are third division at the moment.

See also Frankfurt not being available as a choice, whereas they are Bundesliga

Re: Best XI in your lifetime. (Excluding the 106 team)

Difficult because obvs I’m gonna say Robin Friday, but he was basically a fourth division player. Whereas Le Fondre scored quite a few for us in the Premiership. Senior and Friday up front. Senior was not “that good”, he just could not help scoring. Similarly I’d be tempted to put Steve Death above ...

I guess it was the North Stand, as it was opposite the South Bank.

The Royal Forester Sorry, but I can take being born (I was born at home, during WW 2) the nearest to the Mad. Stad. away from you. According to Google Maps, my former house in Greenfields Road is .4 of a mile closer.

Hang on, were you born at home as I was, or in a hospital?
