He's very athletic very hardworking and very well organised which allows him to play at this level. Compared to his peers he doesn't have great natural talent which is why his 1st touch is only competent and he won't beat a player. He's made the most of his ability.

A lot of those players are essentially english players. If they thought they had a good chance of an England cap, the likes of McAnuff, Pearce and Leigertwood would be English.
