Re: January Window

-Priority: Arshavin to play in the hole behind Pog, surely wouldn't cost too much and stick him on a similar deal to Pavel. -Not sure we need another striker, maybe loan out Church and bring in someone like Wilfried Zaha, Simeone Jackson. -Center Midfield, if we insist on playing 442, Jacob Butterfi...

Re: Newcastle Match thread 29/09/12 (H)

HT.

Defence assured, Pog playing well, Ledge and Karacan bossing the midfield, McAnuff and Shorey doing quite well down the left, Shoreys delivery been poor, Cummings doing well down the right, supporting Kebe and getting some good crosses in.

Team: McCarthy; Cummings, Shorey, Mariappa, Gorkss; Karacan, Leigertwood, Kebe, McAnuff (c); Hunt, Pogrebnyak
Subs: Taylor, Pearce, Guthrie, McCleary, Robson-Kanu, Le Fondre, Roberts

Strongest bench so far this season, mainly because most of our best players are sitting on it instead of the pitch

Re: Newcastle (H) Predictions

Spurs, West Brom and QPR, the matches have finally been coming thick and fast so no excuse to be on the back foot. We will be boosted by the return of Kebe in the match day squad and we go into this on the back of a hard fought win. Newcastle have an enviable squad (especially in attack), but they ...

Re: Denis Cheryshev

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzyFDFIJLzA He plays on the left, he plays center mid, Cheryshev has played for Madrid. Looks very two footed and skillful, would love to pull off this transfer but will probably only be a loan. Maybe we should start Russianing the squad out, Arshavin next please Anton.

Reading (4-4-2): McCarthy; Gunter, Shorey, Gorkss, Pearce; Guthrie, Leigertwood, McAnuff (c), McCleary; Le Fondre, Pogrebnyak. Subs: Taylor, Cummings, Mariappa, Karacan, Robson-Kanu, Church, Hunt I wish Karacan would get a run in the team with guthrie! The midfield would get battered, Legs is so un...

Re: If you could pick one player from our last top-flight...

2006 form: Glen Little or Kitson

Current form but was in the squad at the time: Sigurdsson (but not sure if it counts given he was still in the academy)

Re: The Great Keeper Deb8

In football manager DB terms, Feds is a goalie with a potential ability rating of circa 125-135, which means he's good enough for league one and chumpionship at a stretch. McCarthy is would be rated -2 and receive a random rating of 150-200 when you start a savegame. Thanks for clearing it up, clea...

Re: Loan Watch 2012-2013

Wuzzy87 Anderson apparently on loan from Southampton :|

He was talking about Lee Barnard.

2-2 Full time.
Andersen saved a penalty in the shootout. On another note Brian Howard had a great game, scored a fantastic goal and linked play really well.
