Sorry guys, but with the second best manager in Britain at the helm, we can see that Villa are now rejuvenated under martin O'neill. Their performance against the Champions League finallists was admittedly lucky at times, but dogged and fighting, and with home advantage I think they will be too muc...

I always get worried when we don't begin the match facing the South Stand, I dont know why! Might be something to do with the shocking performance against Sheff Utd in December 2002, when they outclassed us, shooting the wrong way.

It could of course lead to negative vibes from Leroy if this was to happen, but Id be happy to see Kitson and Doyle start and have Leroy come on, as he did yesterday. Taking up the Stephen Hunt role.

To be fair though he was very humble! Exactly. Not many managers would react in the way he did when asked about the disallowed goal. Right. He seems an intelligent, level-headed guy who doesn't rant and rave. Perhaps in the mould of Coppell. It's the way to be, Southgate's gone up loads in my estim...

Maguire Thank God we didn't see Downing and Yakubu score against us today. That would've been embarrassing for us.

As for celebs, Let them phone or text in like everyone else. Oddly enough, it's my understanding that Chris Tarrant did indeed phone in like everyone else... Fair enough then. I look forward to hearing the text from Ricky Gervais of Whitley read out after the match. Was he really from Whitley? The ...

[quote="Humanistic"]Fantastic game.

A word for Ivar- thought he was superb and was not at all out of his depth. Had Viduka in his pocket for much of the match. [quote]

Re: Reading 3 Boro 2 Reflections

Viduka's goal was clearly onside I've watched the replays and I'm less convinced, even though the accompanying commentry says it was onside. From northwest my first instinct when he got that ball was to shout "OFFF SSIIIIIIDDDEEE!!!!!". Of course the opinion of a deranged with joy fan is ...

Im up for it!! I think to add to it a bit, we should play it the first 10 seconds of the game too, to try and get the crowd singing along, as they do at West Ham with 'Im forever blowing bubbles'.
