Re: Pauno out

If we get relegated I'd bet on us dropping to League Two sooner than getting promoted. Why should we be any different to Wigan? they were up to their necks in the brown stuff when the owners did a runner but they are flying now and look like a good bet to bounce back up. I expect their fans were sa...

Re: Attendances

Part of the issue is there is no tangible Marketing Department at the club since people have left and not been replaced. This may be a knock on effect of the pandemic, but hopefully that will change soon.

Re: EFL Awards.....Young Player of the Season - Michael Olise

I may be well off the mark here, but does anyone else think he’s been massively overrated? It’s great that he has so many admirers, but I can’t help but think his proneness to go missing in games should contribute against him much more than all the credit he gets for the odd good display.

Re: How much does 'luck' play a part in results?

I’ll try and be careful to word this correctly, but we as a fan base have been very unlucky that Joao’s head has gone in the final couple of months of the season. I’m not looking to label all the blame of our demise at his door, but you have to look at some of those horror moments throughout the sea...

Just a quick reminder that in Farke’s first season at Norwich they finished 14th.

Re: Rival Watch

Would be an interesting irony if we somehow manage to pip Swansea to a playoff place on the final day. Unlikely of course, but beyond the realms of possibility.

Re: Where do we go from here 21/22 season?

My biggest concern and maybe it's just PTSD from the Stam era is that after a relatively successful season especially when measured against recent seasons, we'll just revert to form next season. Difference for me, when looking at that, is that with Stam we ground out a lot of wins by a very small m...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h)

Tough as it is to take, there is a certain inevitability that in the unlikely event we’d made the top six we have been pretty easily brushed aside. Not being in it gives a couple of extra weeks planning for next season.

Re: Next 10 games

Not sure if this is necessarily the correct thread to raise this, but does anyone actually genuinely think we’ll be promoted this season?

This may be to do with not going to games, but personally I’m finding it really hard to get excited and just can’t see us going up.

Re: Ex Players

Obita has joined Wycombe https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55860910 Seems an odd one on the surface. Made 15 apps since October which sounds reasonable; not sure how many were from the bench though. He’s left a team that are starting to mount a playoff push, for a club that are heading back down...

Lots of limitations around the the ground, but the stadium bowl at the Madejski is fantastic.

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Snowflake Royal FFS, more games on Sky means more games I can't watch on IFollow and have to find a dodgy stream for it that's lower quality and reliability and gives the club no cash.

The money from Sky will by far exceed what we’d get from iFollow passes.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I’m starting to get very jittery about every match at the moment, which is a stark contrast to matches in recent seasons.

It’s great isn’t it!!

Re: What has changed so much from last season?

We had a handful of games last season where we were unplayable against very good opposition. I think some of the disruption prevented us from getting momentum, but I think we had at least a ‘decent’ squad all along.

Re: Would you take 4th place now?

Think how great it'll be when we eventually win a final. Would of course take that, but it would be horrendous if it was in front of an empty Wembley. I don't think we'd mind at the time tbf I may be in the minority, but the biggest element about not winning a playoff is missing out on the euphoria...
