They were really good against a Watford side that don’t concede much and had to have Ben Foster at his best to do that. There’s question marks over their defence though so it could easily go either way.

Paunovic seemed to think the performance wasn’t as good as it should’ve been, good to see we have a manager that doesn’t hide himself from the facts. Definitely wasn’t a 3-0 game, but the players seem to be growing in confidence going off how strongly we finished.

Interesting decision to drop Joao. Hasn’t been great two games, seems like Pauno wants to rest him which we will need to do. Good boost of confidence for Puscas that he can finally get his chance again.

Yes. I don’t think we have the squad to compete for the automatics but the playoffs would be a fantastic achievement.

Once the festive period is over we can make a judgement on how good a team is. I don’t see us sustaining this without a huge improvement, so I’m excited to see what Paunovic will do with the team to ensure we can do well enough to cement a promotion push.

Derby play a different formation now rather than the 4231. Watford will be hard to be beat and that win last time out will always be impressive by the time the league finishes.
