Re: Guthrie closes Twitter account

Given the closure of his account last week and omission today it might be reasonable to think there has been another 'incident'. Yes there was another incident but you shot me down on the other thread. He did a screenshot of him playing as himself on FIFA & it said 'for sale' on it, i.e. implyi...

Re: Everton (A) - Match Thread

Good to see Pearce back. The complete omission of Guthrie is appalling, and 4-4-2 with that midfield puts pretty much our entire game on Akpan.

Re: Everton (A) Predictions

Apparently 17th December (Arsenal home) was the last time we scored a goal between the 10th and 70th minutes (10 games, 12 goals).

I don't think we'll score today, 0-2.

This tackle put his victim out for the rest of the season, it was Muscat's first game back after this red card http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=niL8yoGyCvk for swinging his arm into someone's face.

Hob Nob is giving Brian 9 months to prove himself eh?

I think Ian was just expressing a viewpoint that Brian won't leave the club before November.

Seems a hell of a long time ago this guy couldn't buy a win. Didn't he go 20 appearances for Spurs without being on the winning side? Sure they were looking at moving him on at one point.

Re: OS deletes Pearce article

We had the best 2 or 3 chances against Wigan but 4-5-1 isn't the issue, the issue is the players not being good enough to keep the ball and build an attack without stretching the play so much that Pogrebnyak was consistently isolated . We've played the formation many times and it's not been anywher...

soggy biscuit Gerrard in his early days against Everton. Properly tried to break his leg.

Don't remember the Everton one - his tackle against Boateng, against Villa maybe, was a shocker.

Worst tackle ever?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfQ4aYg3ImA

Has to be up there as one of the worst 'tackles' in history - difficult to see the defender was doing anything here except try to break Ronaldinho's leg.

Almost as horrific is that the referee didn't so much as book the defender!
