Shaka Hislop.

Nobody since then has ever really bothered me. I was sorry to see Fozz leave but mostly for nostalgia reasons rather than footballing ones. The likes of Curo and Butler were never going to take us to the next level anyway, so I'll stick with Shaka. Loved him.

For me it was Simon Osborn, Shaka Hislop and Craig Maskell

The breakup of the 1995 team with Shaka, who was our greatest ever keeper, Osborn, Taylor and later Adie was our lowest point. Another season or two with that team would have seen us promoted. Mind you can you imagine trying to survive in the Prem at Elm Park? More recently I think letting Henderson and Tyson go was a bad move. While Darius might not be setting the world on fire in the struggling Watford team at the moment he would have been ideal cover for the injured Kitson and prefferable to the big headed attitude of Lita who is trouble. Tyson with his pace would have been an asset as well, potentially better than Long anyway. Anyone know how long he is out for at Forest?

What about how Lita ALLEDGEDLY lost his Championship Medal when he had a slight disagreement with a "lady of the night" over payment while out cruising in his Hummer and the said lady nicked the medal. Plus all the other ALLEDGEd stories. He is trouble and we should get shut of him in January and get 2 new strikers in if Kits is still out.

Going a little further back than some on here, I would letting Kevin Bremner go was utter madness by Branfoot.

Branfoot judged Bremner purely on the number of goals he scored, but anyone with the smallest of football brains knows full well there was more to Bremner's game than just goals.

In more recent years I would say the selling of Scott Murray was a little premature.

Adi Williams, Cureton and Upson (even though Upson was only on loan).

Adi Williams was a great player. Always guaranteed to give 100%, strong with his challenges and a good header of the ball.

Cureton was a great striker and a real goal poacher. Also gave 100% even when going through a goal drought.

Upson was a class act in the centre of defence. Our record in the games he played spoke for itself as he totally controlled what went on at the back. Love to have him back.

Robin Friday being sold had the most traumatic effect on me as a kid simply because my dad refused to take me to Elm Park again.

It was another couple of years before i could go on my own ( 78-79 title winning season ).

Not really a sold or let go but a loss to injury, I always thought that Mark White was a class act, left back in the Shorey mould.

Otherwise the usual suspects, Friday, Horrix, Webb, Hislop, Cureton, Bremner, Scott Taylor etc. And I thought that Steve Wood would go on to greater things.

Hislop is an obvious choice, but at least we spent the £1.5m well to set us up overe the next few years

Others that I was upset about at the time but on reflection wern't the end of the world were Cureton, Kevin Watson, and strangely Gary Peters (the 2nd time, too young to be bothered the 1st time(ish)!)

Also Upson, not just because he was a good player, but it marked the end of a great run.

T.R.O.L.I. Shaka in the summer of 1995 - inevitable but still really annoying.

Yup. That's the one that really got me.

I still can't contemplate Sidwell actually leaving either.

Gutted when Adie and Gilkes left us. Equally as upset when Quinn and Gooding left.

However, I was delighted to see Caskey go.
