Simon Cox (On-loan at Brentford)

by RG30 » 26 Dec 2006 23:05

Just listening to the re-run of 606 this evening and a Brentford fan slating there team with the exception of Simon Cox who in his eyes is the only one showing "fight and passion". Good to here that he's doing well and credit to him that he recovered from his broken leg so quickly.

Cox is playing as well as he did before broken leg. Trouble is that the rest of the team has fallen apart. Desperate times indeed.

If I was Coppell I would get him back to the Mad Stad as quickly as possible and loan him somewhere else as he must be getting very depressed playing alongside the has beens, never will bes and couldn't give a toss so long as I get my grand week wasters that we have right now.

Local derbies at Aldershot look like a possibilty for 18 monts time.

it might not be the best possible situation, but he isn't better than all of his competition. so he's fine for now

Hard to tell in the present shambles he is covering most of the pitch! Mainly up front on the right I guess.

I believe it was 'Tenacity, Spirit & Flair'.

Interesting that after the Watford game Sir Steve made reference to several similar words related to commitment, hard work etc. and said that they weren't really words you wanted to hear used to describe a football match! I believe he sees football in a more artistic light than his predecessor.

Back to Reading after yesterday's game - bad decision by us of it was down to the Bees.

Will be a championship level player at least with soem decent coaching and if he learns to curb his temper a bit.

Good luck to him.

Now he's back, I'd like to see him in the squad for Burnley, would be a good opportunity for him.
