working class hero Lita was in Risa last week giving it large about how Man U had contacted his agent......

difficult choice for a young player stay at Reading or go to MU.

thats interesting as i had heard that via a different source but was not particularly inclined to believe it. leroy has improved his game, but good enough for man u?

It doesn't say that the enquiry from Man Utd was for Lita! I'm sure his agent looks after a load of other players too

interesting point! any one know who leroys agent is? tho its unlikely leroy would go around bragging this unless he believed his agent had been contacted with regards to him

IT'S ALL LIES.

Even if Lita decides to "do a Sidwell" we should keep him next year. We may get £5 million for him now, but it is worth £30 million to stay in the Premiership. Young proven goal scorers are so hard to find and Doyle and Kitson have had their injury worries. Just see what happens when you have no strikers scoring (Man City, Watford or Charlton when Bent doesn't play)

By the end of next season, either Long will have stepped up or SSC will have found a replacement (as Halford is for Sidwell).

Hopefully, Leroy will sign a new contract, but I can't see it if he is a regular and scoring goals in the Prem. If England pick him , we have had it in term sof keeping him after next season.

Put away your fishing rod.

Because anyone with a differing view to you MUST be on a wind up

I can't believe anyone would be so serious about calling our top scorer "gash".

He's just trying to cause trouble - ignore him.

That's why clubs like Manchester City are bemoaning a lack of natural goal scorers? Why haven't they just gone out and bought one for £1M?!

But then Man City are probably looking in the wrong place! That's the genius of SC - Man City have probably never heard of Cambridge United and Cork City!

My source tells me there is an out of contract [or about to be] Pompey player lined up to replace Sidwell if need be....

No, because you are either a useless fisherman, or a useless judge of football players. Simple as that.

Sir Steve knows what he's doing, let's just hope the contract is done sooner rather than later.
