Huntley & Palmer Or it could be to get our quota in for the season. Doesn't every team have to be on a minimum of eight times on Sky Sports and four times on PremPlus?

Interesting. I see from my fixture list that we have been on PremPlus 3 times (Man Utd, Chelsea and Villa, all at home) and will have been on Sky Sports 8 times by then.

I can't remember the exact quotas, but every team must be on both channels a minimum amount of times as per the TV agreement.

I think that's true.

No idea what the quotas are, mind.

Well, if Huntley's right, one more fixture for PremPlus then! Any ideas which game will it be? ;)

How dare they think they have the right to change our fixtures after giving us approx £25million in revenue. It's a disgrace I tells ya.

Great news, I now get 2 days uninterrupted NFL Draft coverage without missing the early picks because of travelling back from the game.

Get in!

My brother in law who holds a Newcastle season ticket but lives in Reading  wouldn't be able to go on the sat as he had a wedding to go too. He's waited 11 years to see Newcastle play in Reading (since he's moved down there) but now he's over the moon as its a monday night!

More than anything else, it's a pain the backside. I'll have to go to the ground straight from work (get picked up at the station) otherwise we won't get parked.

Still, it's an excuse to have a KFC I wouldn't have otherwise had.

Thank You Sky,

Would normally moan but I'll be selfish I had to attend the Workers Memorial Day in London on the Saturday so was going to miss first game of season.....Now I can go without looking to get away early and not pay proper respect to all the workers that have died whilst doing an honest days work. (PM for details if anyone wants details of event!)

I genuinely feel for those who will be inconvenienced --whether or not we've been told countless times in advance to expect this sort of thing, it still blows-- but it'll be yet another live TV appearance for the lads on what amounts to something close to a global basis.

Precious little consolation for some, but such is the unavoidable downside of life in the big time.

you ought to get your red ass down to AE, where the forces of reaction are in the ascendancy.

warning: FGS is on your side. Abandon all hope.

Can they just not make a commitment at the start of the season as to which/and when they will be televising certain (league) games?

I will now probably have to forgo the Newcastle game.....one which I have already paid good money for

but........... we all do as we are expected to do......roll over to that "great god Sky Premier" and the fruits that it bears

But, can I have a little refund from that £25m please?
