1871 Royal
Wycombe Royal I find it hard to justify giving it to a defender in a game where we lost and conceded twice.

You say that however.
1st goal - dodgey offside (in my eyes)
2nd goal - always going to make mistakes when going forward.

Thats how I justified it anyway.

1st goal - I don't think it was offside, but we were trying to hold the line.

2nd goal - Shorey trying to do far too much, loses possession and then no-one marking the two players at the far post.

It is always interesting to see such diverse views including one poster giving Shorey 4/10 and another going with the Shorey for England stuff.
Personally I made Ivar MOM by miles-his reading of the game is tremendous.
When Oster came here I was one of the few that were pleased with his signing but today I thought he blew an opportunity to show that we should keep him.
Early on he greedily shot instead of passing and for most of the first half slowed the game down whenever he got the ball and hardly ever tried to go outside the full-back who is so predominantly right-footed but persisted in coming inside or passing back to Bryn and hen the crosses came in from a less effective angle.
In the second half he was almost anonymous and his corners generally poor.
I reckon he is one of those more effective as a sub-I feel the same about Hunt being used as an explosive 20-25 minute player rather than always starting a game.

Completely flummoxed by that one.I thought he was fantastic today and certainly justified an England call up.Class act .
his juggling act instead of clearing the ball led to the winning goal.. and one of his back passes to Marcus was absolutely criminal

his link-up play was virtually non-existant

The "Shorey For England" calls became somewhat muted

Ingimarsson probably had his best game today. Saved us with some great last ditch tackling and led the team well with Murty's absence.

I think he always leads the team well in Murty's absences.

You daft twat

You never saw Ivar waving to Jonny O everytime we had a corner (wanting the ball to his head at the back side onf the 18 yard box)....J O's kicks were there , or there about everytime.

As for the GREEDY shot where was he meant to pass it?.....Doyle and Kits were two seconds behind him

Stuck between Ingimarsson, Hunt and Kitson(his second half performance was almost spot on). And that keeper in the Green Jersey at half time, lovely run

I thought that one wasn't worth comment. To describe that shot as greedy is shockingly misguided. He was open on goal and had a good old poke at it. Decent shot, decent save. On with the game.

Although I gave the team between an 8 and a 9 yesterday except for Ivar who i voted for and is worthy of 11, I have to give a mention to Kitson who was yet again very good.

with sids on his way we should drop him and try and reform a partnership between brynn and harps in the middle of the pitch.they were awesome last season when sids was injured, and it took him a month and in injury to one of thyem to get back in the team
sids not been at his best as the speculation has picked up anyway, and we should be building for our"difficult second season"

Yup the vote gives a massive thumbs up to our Icelandic gems with honourable mentions to Sir Nicholas of Shorey and the Huntster.
