Royalee Nice to hear he's doing well for you, although it doesn't surprise me in the slightest having seen him several times in the reserves and academy and he's already better than all of our centre backs bar Sonks and Ivar in my eyes. No chance of you getting him permanently I'm afraid as he'll be in our starting line-up before long.

So much better than them all that he is third in line for a starting place - ahead of Bikey and Duberry?

Or maybe not, in the eyes of the one person who matters?

Given he hadn't had any first team action, I'm pleased Coppell's chosen to loan him out to get him well up to speed - Bikey and Duberry already had games and were therefore less of a risk to take.

So, what you really meant was that he has more potential than the other two, rather than that he is already a better player?

No, I think he's better already but I'm glad Coppell's choosing to test him in League 1 before throwing him in at the deep end.

oh come on, hes ok, he may be great, but hes not better than either BK or doobs, not on any planet, except maybe a planet where all above average young footballers become greats

He's far better than Duberry and you probably haven't seen him play.

If that's the case then why did we buy Duberry and not play Pearce in the Cup games, other than a few minutes against Burnley?

i have seen him play a couple of times, he does look good, just that i think the experience of doobs, and the strength of BK make them better at the mo

when he returns from loan that may change though
