Why would that be? Charlton came to us with a new manager and left with nothing...

We're usually quite good at beating side's like fulham. They'll come off the back of a poor run but looking to impress the new manager with lots of heart, and they'll give a good account. However, when your in that position then heart takes place over quality of football, and you're not always the most well organised. I still expect a win, leaving fulham with decent signs of progression for next season.

My prediction before the sacking was a 2-1 win to the Royals, but now i'm going with 1-1.

Worst. Dodd. Ever.

But thanks for trying.

This is not about the merits of Coleman's sacking, it's about the match on Saturday when Sanchez once again pits his managerial wits against the mighty Royals.

Too soon for the new boss to do much on the training pitch. I expect some resolute defending and a narrow win for Reading.

1-0 (Ivar)

I have a feeling that last time Lawrie brought a team to us we improved noticeably after having a player sent off and beat Wycombe in an enjoyable game. It left him fuming.

Red card for Bikey?

Do you think he will try and claim that if he was Reading manager we'd have one the Prem now?!

I for one hope that oxf*rd takes them down...

Lawrie is a class act, he knows how to get the best from his players, it will be a different Fulham side come Saturday!

You can't really call Les Reed a manager compared to Sanchez as he's managed at international level etc. so his expierence with better players IMHO at Fulham will get Fulham back to safety starting at the Mad Stad.

Complete mismatch - a mere apprentice up against the Grand Master, Sir Steve.
