Have a watch of Sky Sports News tonight if you can. As Doyle was stepping up to take the penalty, David Thompson, standing next to him on the 18 yard line, deliberately bursts a balloon just as Doyle strikes the ball...........didn't work obviously.

Anybody know if this is on U-tube? Can only find one media report on it - the Guardian claiming it was Stelios.

I thought it was quite a good attempt at putting Doyler off.

I want to see the cheat caught blowing it up, that would be so funny. I saw the balloon on the day but thought it may have been blown on the pitch.

How stupid am I...... don't answer that one!!!

I thought the Bolton player was going to kick it toward Doyler to put him off on his run up.

And there was me thinking a thread about Thompson balloon popping during a penalty would have to contain the word Thompson, balloon or popping.
