bottom left hand corner Why did people booo at half time, booo Oster and booo at the end?

I mean they deserved it

I think you've just answered your own question.

Oster should never play for us again and Coppell's tactics and team selection are nothing short of shambolic.

Apparently Kitson was either allowed to leave or stormed out of the dressing room long before the rest of the players.

he probably had a taxi waiting.

Certainly the first, and I strongly suspect the second as well!

Oster was one of our better [layers today, says it all really

hunt?
harper?
marek?
long?
doyle?
shorey?

all were worse than doyle

when fulham had possession we sat back

when we had possession they wre on top of us

it was gutlees and half hearted.

0 shots on target at home against a team that has not won away in near enough 2 seasons?

thats why they were booed off the park

if i performed at work like that i'd get a written warning from my employer

Gordons Cumming Oster did not play badly today and doesn't deserve to be the scapegoat on this occasion.

People who say that Marek is so good and the other players can't see his vision and passing. Well today I don't think he knew what he was doing. Abysmal.

In the first half, EVERY, and I really do mean EVERY, Reading attack ended with our right winger screwing up in some fashion.

He made one, ONE, (that's O-N-E), direct run in the Fulham half before crossing first time, from which Doyle almost scored with a header. For the rest of the game he was his usual self.

Richi Royal I have never booed before but today it was totally deserved

The performance was embarassing they are paid 10 of thousands a week and give us that performance...i pay a large chunk of my weeks wages to see the team play and i expect to see at least some commitment and desire. We lacked in every department from the first whistle to the last whistle to the second worst team in this league who has not won away for basically 2 seasons.

Nail, head, on, hit - there's a reason why Reading weren't booed off after their 8th defeat in a row, but were booed off today, and it's nothing to do with the skill of the players on that day.

I think you have to look a little further than your vitriolic dislike of John Oster today chum.

Marek, Kev, Shane, James, Nicky, Liam and Steve were the embarresments.

I reckon they should put their weekly wage into the WAGS charidee thing.

Sorry chap, you must have been at a different game. Our right winger was no worse than he normally is. The rest have now descended to his level.

Like the idea of the charity gig though. It would restore a degree of faith if the whole team donated their weeks' wage after that "performance". Wonder if that suggestion would carry more weight than another PANTS day?

Other than when Terry Christian stretches his vocal chords, booing is quite honestly the most moronic sound known to man. Do it now; put your lips together and go boo. You sounded like an idiot then didn't you? So if you were embarassed enough making a stupid sound like that which only you heard, why would you ever repeat it in the company of a good many other members of the most intelligent species on earth? Boo rhymes with moo; would you sit on a plastic seat and moo along with thousands of others? Of course you wouldn't.

You'd never catch me booing at the end of a bad performance, no siree. Ok, so that is probably because I have long since already left but never mind 8) .

My god were you actually at the game or are u just fishing ? every attack finished on rhs behave and get yourself down to nearest opticians you muppet. Hunt was as bad as Oster and rest of team today hopefully a one-off for the team.

Stating every attack ended up with oster screwing up then correcting yourself with aprt from one shows you for the dimwitted myopic geek that we could do without. Yes we are all disappointed but ..... please do not renew your ST

There is of course one thing worse than making the 'Boo' sound and thats making the 'Shoot' sound. Thats just desperate and ignorant.

And even worse than those two sounds is the sound of a grown man butchering Blue Army on his drum (no, Im nor making this up) for 30 minutes.

I dont care is anybody boos or not, but 'Shoot!' is the single must rubbish thing a man can do. (Apart from bringing a drum to the game)

knobby_1871 Hunt was as bad as Oster

Wrong. Hunt was far worse.

Hunt should buy Oster a drink at the end of the season for taking the heat off him. People seem to be so consumed by Oster that Hunty gets away with pathetic performances week in week out (apart from half a dozen games when he was trying to impress).

Irvinchangeyaname Wrong. Hunt was far worse.

Agreed. Why do we continue to play a winger who is completely unable to cross the ball? Hunt's performances have been absolutely dire for months and yet he seems to completely avoid the flak the likes of Doyle and Oster receive. Trying hard is not enough...

To be fair since Salad Bowl we havent had a left winger in the traditional sense,Im at a loss of words to say where Reading Fc go from yesterday, It was a real bad day for everyone who bleeds blue and white, its a shame most of the players dont.
