Pain and despair - don't want to talk - I didn't travel but to those that did - you all looked and sounded incredible yesterday - just feel empty apart from hatred towards Pompey and Derby - just three more goals or one more point from the numerous opportunities - and how did Fulham win at Man City? and the last minute goal we conceded at City? No-one needs to apologise - you can almost feel the communal pain when reading the posts! And as for SC - I hope so much that he stays - That's it - I'm switching off til August..........

Fulham were lucky to get Roy Hodgson, he is in spite of the comedy voice and appearence, (not my own view, but he does get flak about his street credibility) a fine judge of a footballer and the tactics of getting more than the sum of the parts out of his squad. Top bloke who won and was gracious in victory!

Roy Hodgson & Steve Coppell = class

Derby fans, Pompey team and manager = shallow scum

If Bullard and McBride had been fit all season, Fulham would have been safe in March.

Let's learn the lessons - it was no one person's fault....

Look forward not back - Bolton Charlton, Sunderland, amongst others have bounced back after being relegated. If we are positive and stick together we can as well..

If we'd spent that £2.5 million on a player with less potential and more class ... ?

I've nothing to apologise for, and neither have you wendy. The people who were so fcuking sure we were going down and, in spite of what they may say now, are takinggreat delight, not in the relegation, but in being proved right. As for knobs like Dodger, well he's not really worth mentioning, so I won't. As the more enlightened philosophers of the Renaissance Period might have said 'Fcuk him'.

My apologies as well.

But I bet I enjoyed the season more, thinking as I did up until the last few games that we would be safe in the end. :P

I don't take any delight in the fact that what I could see happening over the last 18 months was a having a negative effect on the future of my football club thanks.

I haven't seen anyone gloating that their predictions of doom and gloom were correct. All I've seen is some continued debate on the pro's and con's of the season, a lot of praise for the way the manager and fans have carried themselves, and some humble pie being offered up from just a couple of posters who have unfortunately had to come to terms with the fact that those who were ridiculed and belittled for being negative, STG's or over-reactionist (made up word?) have been proven to be more right than wrong.

I'd rather we had a manager who knows the difference between "of" and "have".

i apologised to all of the CTGB, of which he was definately one

in fact was very rarely abusive to any of them, just trying to get my ridiculously over the top positivity across to them in the best way i could.

I agreed with many of TVs points, it was his pisstaking "style"i object to more than anything else

i have now apologised, and meant it
which is more than anyone else has done
and more than the CTGB would have done if wed managed to stay up yesterday.

i dont think i need do more.

specially not for you/TV

Thank you.

Although very right as I was, this week is not a time for gloating and I'd have rather been wrong and had the abuse for it as it was gut wrecnhing when the 76min goal came in.

I predict we will go back up this season and we'll have learnt a lesson and hopefully the club will spend some of their money on strengthing next time when needed.

Anyhow, people hear can go off and enjoy my screen saver of "Pick A Picture" I made for you all. (Thread Elsewhere here)
