He can't be worse than Kebe or less fit than Little.

So why not call him back?

Henry's loan spell expires after the 2nd leg so he'd be available for us at Wembley if we overcome Burnley on Tuesday

He aint gr8 - don't kid yourself. Not good enough - lacks pace and technical skills. A good league 2 player at best,

Actually I'd say his technical skills are of a pretty high order and whilst he's not an out and out sprinter he's not lacking pace.

I'd question his decision making at times, but that is what you go on loan to learn....

He's strong and can play in a variety of positions, which is handy....

The Real Sandhurst Royal Henry has never been given a fair chance to play in a Reading side by Steve Coppell.

I think he should be playing as he holds the ball up and delivers a good corner and cross into the box which is far better than Kebe has done all season.

Hopefully we will see more of Henry next season.

Henry played a handful of games earlier in the season, and although he showed huge promise it was clear that he wasn't ready for regular football at this level. Even at Millwall the fans were unconvinced at first, but there's no doubt that he's come on leaps and bounds since and is ready for a step up next season, either with us or another Championship team.

The idea that his omission has cost us this season is quite frankly ludicrous. He's good, but nowhere near as good as some are making out.

So, just to clarify things, a Millwall bench player is our solution.
Thats right, yes?

1. He's not normally a bench player for Millwall
2. I enquired about him because, in case you hadn't noticed, our team gets more depleted every game.

You mean league 1, surely? he has been brilliant for Millwall. BR apparently very keen on him for Watford too.

Nonetheless, he failed to get into a playoff game in the division below us, for whatever reason.
Im bored of JK as well, but in no way is Henry our missing piece.
From what Ive seen of Henry, Im not even convinced Henry > Kebe

had chances a couple of times in the league and failed to produce IMO

still think he should be back as an option for the playoff games though-it does seem very odd, since we are short of numbers and class in his position

All i'm going to say is, I'd love to see Henry, Cisse, Matejovski and a motivated Lita, in the same team...

Maybe even a Pearce who has composure.

Probably a bit of a miscalculation not bringing him back, but for whatever reason SC seemed to decide he wanted more experience so probably thought Little, Kebe, S Hunt and Tabb were enough cover for the flanks (with Stretch, Rosey, Long and Doyle as backups). Kebe's as fitful as ever and Little was always a gamble, so they were variables we knew about.

But the centre of midfield injury malaise has required Tabb to be moved in there (and playing superbly, in my view), S Hunt still can't get out of his rut, Stretch is injured and we have a bit of an injury crisis amongst the strikers, all of which really restricts our options. So the gamble to leave Henry at Millwall does appear to have backfired somewhat, even though he probably would only have just been used as a sub in this thinned out squad.

I think CMRoyal has eloquently summed it up. I dont think we can really have foreseen our squad diminshment. I would still rather play with what we have than take Henry out of Millwall now. What if they get promoted and he gets taken away from the squad at the last minute? Surely its better to let him enjoy the promotion rather than resent us for forcing him not to be a part of it.

Sorry, bit melodramatic there.
Either way - being at Millwall could well be exactly what he needed this year.
