Harpers So Solid Crew Good points BF.
I dont recall this negativity when the team were on a roll last season, that was a season with a parachute payment, and a manager who seemed to get some underperforming players going.
From outside it now looks like some are underperforming again, but now there is no Siggurdsson to cover their short comings.
Having just seen them play at Torquay, it looked like they had gone backwards, the desire was not there, especially in Rasiak, I am sure you will agree there BF, as you saw his play that day. Lazy and uninterested.

Royal Lady If anyone still thinks that we are going to be a force to be reckoned with and will be in with a shout of promotion this season, next season or any other season whilst the club are unable to plough money back into the club from the money garnered in sales, then, personally, I think you're wrong.

2 world wars, 1 world cup We may make it this year, but only NEARLY. Nail-biting surprise excellent run of form thanks to the magician that is BM.
Not an unwise way to play it really - leech money from the club and squeeze every last drop out of what you have left on a budget and who knows they may nearly make it.
Welcome to Reading Nearly Club.

Harpers So Solid Crew I guess this was bound to get dug out again.
It is still all about opinions though.
And it seems that the person with the right opinion at this moment in time is John Madjeski. We all know that buying expensive players is a risk, as is not buying expensive players, JM has gone down the build from within, he has said for a long time that we need to build rather than buy, and he has followed this since relegation. His way is paying off at the moment, we must have one of the lowest cost teams at the top of the table, anyone got any figures as to what this squad cost in comparison to the others?
