From the Guardian's clockwatch report...

GOAL! Reading 1-2 Barnsley (Robson-Kanu pen, 74 min): After missing two today, at last, Reading score a penalty, which means they're better than Brazil.

At least I got a little  out of that...

Funny actually - everyone was moaning about the potential lack of goal threat but it's the back 4 that seem to be the biggest concern atm.

why hasn't McD put in Church? We don't have much to lose do we? Guess I would take out McAnuff.

Libertine Yay!!! We scored on our third penalty attempt...gtfi HRK!!!! :D

Let him take them from now on then. Who took the others?

I agree when he is playing he should be taking them. I had assumed once Shane left it would fall to Harte...which doesn't inspire the same level of confidence which having Long or Sigurdsson standing over them does. :?

Harte's missed 3 now hasn't he? This is an awful result for us. I've had to miss the 1st 2 home games so hopefully when I start going again we'll start winning!

I am not sure of the exact count of Harte's misses from the spot but his record in that regard isn't that good since he has been here.

5 minutes added on...

Fordham says boos are ringing out.

Two terrible results in a row. I'd rather have got stomped by leicster and won these last two.

Even more horrible for me as I had £10 on 2-0 Barnsley @ 50-1

Sorry. Saw that coming after Tuesday. But hey....we're well run!

seems like Kumalo and McAnuff had really off days. I think thats a few off performances for McAnuff.
