Blue Biscuit Can't argue with the numbers. What were Steve Coppell's stats for the first 100 games..?
by Snowball » 11 Dec 2011 12:33
rhroyal We all know that Brian has done an excellent job. Do we need a thread of statistics dedicated to the subject to help us clarify furhter?

Svlad Cjelli But, as always stats without context are meaningless.
76 of Coppell's matches were in the Premier League, but when you're just looking at "matches" then that important distinction isn't reflected anywhere.

Ian Royal Are we ignoring the games before he was made permanent because they didn't involve a win?

Bandini Stats are probably rather more use in helping to evaluate the performance of a manager than of a player.

Ian Royal Although I'm not convinced by some of his approach, maybe that's because we've been blessed with successful managers in the last decade.

Snowball We had a bad start this year, and, frankly, I thought we had no chance.
