WHU really don't understand why we dislike them, do they?

We support a humble, down to earth team who a manager who has the same attitude. Every player knows their role; no big names, no big egos. Far greater than the sum parts, players have an affinity towards the club in a lot places and want to succeed for us, not themselves. Assembled by hand picking the right players on a budget, not by throwing money at big names. I love supporting this team at the moment.

And WHU are the opposite of everything I just said. How can a rational human being not hate them? It's nothing to do with a Reading - WHU rivalry. That doesn't exist. I just simply hate them for these reasons, which is why beating them today was so sweet.

This ain't about a smaller club getting one over us or a big club giving us a lesson in football. This is Reading, and they're *****. The embarrasing bit is not only being beaten by them, it's the fact that they have made us their nemesis and they still beat us......

Don't you just love it!

So must really gall them that we've ended up with victory over them 7 times out of 10. If we're shit, what does that make them?

I think that he/she means that we are their nemesis but hey ho :-)

They are unbelievably bitter over on KUMB. It was shyte refereeing, cheating by URZZ, BFS's fault; you mane it. Still, our 'tinpot' club are 4 points clear of the self proclaimed aristocrats of the Championship and we have dicked them twice. Happy Days!

Great day out all round, though the 4th goal was a bit of a blur.

Obviously a fantastic result and a brilliant performance; coming back from a goal down to basically humiliate West Ham on their own pitch was sublime!

As has been said, Nolan is just a classless piece of crap.

Big games today by all, but especial mention to Kebe; in the past, if he took the sort of treatment the West Ham players were lining up to give him (and Foy was utterly woeful), he would have disappeared - not today; a permanent thorn for West Ham.

The other big mention goes to my MoM - Shaun Cummings; brilliant performance today.

Reading some of there comments I am shocked that they had that down as excellent home support! Apart from "that" song and goalscoring noise, that was about it! As for us, immense!

Oh and coins thrown down at half time and in the 2nd half...surprised they can afford it TBH.

How did Kebe get on? Listening to the radio, it sounded like he couldn't get in to it.

+1 for Shaun - and he seems to team up really well with Kebe; they seemed to be covering for one another well today (maybe they always do, but I don't often get to see the game with my chin on the pitch - certainly a different viewpoint).

CayeneMatt How did Kebe get on? Listening to the radio, it sounded like he couldn't get in to it.

Quiet start along with the rest of the team (West Ham players were doubling up with a vengence and giving him a good kicking). Brighter later on with some good runs and movements - was really hoping he'd take his chance at the end.

Agreed but overall i thought he was very good. Kept his head, put some good crosses in and some surging runs. Also back defending.

Brilliant, what a turn around after the first 40. Feared the worst when Hunt missed that sitter at the start and Harte was getting ripped apart. 13 points clear of 4th now, crazy. O'neill, Nolan and Tomkins are all massive pcunts as well.

Might as well stop watching football now because from 3.40 onwards today was just about as good as it gets.

Pretty similar atmosphere to Man City away last season; shite home fans giving it the big one after their goal, fantastic away fans going pretty much radio rental for the whole game, with alcohol being chucked all over the concourse at half time. Of course the result was slightly different this time.

Clearly not back from the game but I did watch it live on the teletube.

Only observations:

1) Gorkssss - now known as "The big bearded beauty" in the DHH household after I screamed that after he hit the onion bag - and I have three excited daughters now wishing I was more hirsute
2) Jason Roberts - smile, and you wind them up
3) Legs - Man of the match by a mile - and capped off with a goal to boot. Only one who turned up for the first 43 minutes.

You oxf*rd Rzzzz.

[quote="Fox Talbot"]I was in the Main Stand trying not to look too cheerful..By the end I was pretty much on my own

My take on the decisions at the 'other' end.

- definite but very soft pen

but if it hadnt have been given Jimmy Kebe's shot would still have gone in, so we would still have been 3-1 at 59 min

even the WH main site now accepts the penalty and offside decisions were right ("Faye clearly brings Hunt down" and "Replays suggest Hunt wasnt offside")
