What exactly is going on in Spain? I assumed it was Noel, Churchy, Alf and Karacan off to Marbella for a week on the plss.
However, it appears all the squad / staff are there. Is this a pressie from SJM and/or Anton? Or some sort of pre pre-Season training?
Just wondered....

Whole squad gone apparently - even Griff and he's been released!
Presumably back at the weekend to organise their individual 2 months off before returning to training about a week before they all go to Portugal for the pre-season stuff.
Presumably it's a "well done lads for getting us promoted, have a free holiday" reward

I have been informed by persons that shall remain nameless that Carlos Tevez has been invited as well - in a tutorial role of course... as he has a lot of experience in the sport ...cough

It's good for the team to unwind and get totally away from the environment. Let their hair down, get smashed and get their collective heads together before preparing for pre season. Golf though!. I should expect its the only chance some of the guys will get to say goodbye as a group before the team is disbanded .
Surely the aim of this, apart from a celebraton, is to tell all the players what they should and shouldn't be doing for nutrition and physical exercise over the next two months so that they are well prepared for pre-season training.

Perhaps, but I think it's probably got more to do with traditional British footballing excursions ie. drinking copious amounts or beer, getting a horrific sun-burn, and tossing plastic deck chairs accross plazas at foreigners.
