GSY-Royal
Snowball My question is, how about Jem for RB?

Personally I think he'd make a top-class attacking RB

For me, that's something that we could easily get away with in the Championship, but no chance in the Premier League.

I think that goes for playing Karacan at all.

John Madejski's Wallet
paultheroyal Karacan is a central midfield player HTH

What next, Federici upfront?

Started his career at RB though didnt he?

No. Possibly confusing him with another JK, Julian Kelly.

We'll need some consistency in selection and genuine competition for places.

With that in mind, unless we sign another midfielder or two, we'll need Karacan to concentrate on playing in the middle rather than learning a new position and chopping and changing the back four when he's needed in midfield. I think we might be more likely to see McAnuff do more shifts there than Karacan as we may be chasing games a bit more than the last couple of years.

We need to sign a right back, im not sure about cummings in the prem. Brian cant be convinced either as he played both connelly and mullins ahead of cummings late in the season. if connelly had stayed fit he would of kept his place. Jem could do a job there but only in emergencies i think

Karacan will make way for Guthrie and won't start more than 8 League games in midfield this term.

I disagree........Karacan was one of Reading's best player last season. Once he returns to fitness, his name will be on the starting sheet most weeks.
