Still Hate Futcher! Brian's a legend and I'm enjoying being a Royal as much as ever - that doesn't mean I don't want us to concede fewer goals and win more games but hey, it's not as if The Nag's has run out of matchday beer.

The Reading and Southampton fans who want their manager's out would do well to remember where the clubs were when those managers came in. As someone else said, at least relegation would weed out a few whinging plastics.

Yes, I like it.

I have calmed down now. I also re-watched bits of the game, which didn't help. The good thing is it was only a league cup game. A win against QPR and it will all be forgotten. If they learned something from that mad game that they can take to the league, then it's worth it I say.

Thought I'd pop back here for a relax. The 'Brian out, clueless *******, worst team in history' hysteria over on the match thread is getting a bit much. I thought we picked up an away point today but perhaps I'm mistaken and we lost 6-1 for the 5th game in a row.

Anyway, pint of Ferryman's and a bag of pork scratchings please.

The more the merrier! Now, just off to the jukebox to find something sufficiently chilled.

Yes, think I'll join this Thread Club. The IQ seems to be higher, people's balls are larger (not that that interests me you understand) and there's a distinct lack of over-reactive pre-menstruals. Ahhh, much better.

Definitely agree that this thread is a keeper.

If this piece doesn't chill you out a bit, then may I suggest you should see your doctor.

I've just read some of the many doom mongering negative comments about the Norwich game, which made me angry. So, I've retreated here for some calm.

First clean sheet of the season. Defensively organised. We had an off day in front of goal, but on another day we'd have nicked that game. We're certainly scoring enough goals most of the time. Only three points off safety. The first win is on the way.

And relax.

Who's with me?

11 pages of Back from the Game? No thanks
I'm sure I won't be missing much if I don't read it all

The win will clearly come when least expected, against Everton
In the mean time a little festive sloe gin and relax 8)

Just getting the pouch out right now....

(I've been rather vocal on the Norwich thread and deserve a chill out now.)

Can't believe I've only just found this thread.

Aaaaahhhhhhhh. That's good man.
