Snowball What's Matt Mills doing? :-)

Still looking for the ball in the car park.

I thought it was Pearce who knocked the ball into the car park? I'm sure I remember him doing that last season

Wimb I Thought he was treated pretty shoddily by the club who just expected him to sign the first thing thrown at him and were taken aback when he didn't.

The constant droppings for players clearly worse than him was petty and ultimately stupid. I don't dispute that the player himself could have possibly came to the club a lot earlier and said I want his sorting out now, but it should still be up to the club to try and get their players signed up as soon as possible. The fact we won 4/5 games with Pearce & Mariappa and just 1 without that combination says enough for me.

The change of agents obviously hasn't helped the situation but again that's the club's fault for not giving him an extension sooner, it's the same problem Arsenal find themselves in, year after year and I suppose it should come as no surprise that a heavily Arsenal influenced club such as Reading would be doomed to repeat such mistakes.

Still, there's no point playing the blame game, he's bound to go because a Premier League club will take a punt on a 24 year old International who's got Premier League experience and is a good influence on and off the pitch.

Hopefully it can be a bit of an Ady Williams situation and he comes back one day. Sad to see him go but hopefully Morrison can learn from some of his mistakes this year and keep on improving. Hector could also take a step forward as well to be a good option as fourth choice.

not sure any one of our defenders is "clearly" worse than him. and i include gorkss.

In general no, although Morrison is a lot less reliable because he's so raw. But Gorkss was terrible at the start of the season with Pearce performing considerably better, yet being teh one who was dropped anyway.

soggy biscuit I like to think if I was a footballer I wouldn't use an agent. I have read The Secret Dave Kitson Footballer where he raves about agents and the good work they do, I still they are on the whole pcunts and I could do the work myself.

Gotta remember for the most part, footballers have the intelligence and common sense on a par with a HNA poster!

Kevin Doyle has the best idea.

Doesn't have an agent - his dad does the negotiations for him, and when he needs a contract drawn up or checked he employs a lawyer.

I think I read before that Paul Scholes has never had an agent and basically just signed whatever contract has been out in front of him as he doesn't care too much for negotiating money and he has always intended in staying at Man Utd for life. Utd have then always respected him enough to give him the going rate for a top player.

Not saying you're lying, I just find it a bit  that a football club wouldnt try to save a few pennies here and there by offering him less than other clubs may pay, if he isnt going to complain.

gorkss made more personal errors, but the whole team and defence was awful, and i dont think pearce did anything miles better.

Reading obviously not your strong point. Ever considered getting yourself an agent?
