From what I've heard we created absolutely nothing today so what would a new striker have done anyway?

Also when was the last time kept a clean sheet away from home in the league

P!ssed Off Bring in Kelly, Gorkss and Mariappa for Peterborough in the cup.
Tell them if they keep a clean sheet they keep their place in the team.

Pearce, Morrision and Gunter should get the message that if they can't keep a clean sheet then they can sit on the bench.

Why have you not been offered a managerial role mate? and what about Bridge? it was partially his fault for the goal today

Still, at least we're playing a passing game.

More than can be said for Leeds.

LOL @ the knee jerk - spend loads of money comments. We have one of the highest wage bills in the league!

Those who can't see the difference in spending between AZ's tenure & JM's tenure really need to take a look at themselves.

St. Brynjar Time to change the defense around. I'm a fan of Gunter but he hasn't done enough to hold down the shirt so I reckon Kelly will get the go ahead against Peterborough and keep it in the league. Likewise one of Gorkss or Mariappa, and hopefully a new striker.

I agree with both your points, but most of us on here have been saying he would do that this week and he didn't so I fear we could see the exact same defence again and again. He seems to be providing Gunter and co endless opportunities to redeem themselves when there performances are seriously lacking and costing us points

You all need to calm down and remember that "we've had a good workout".

Binfield Royal according to Dellor, Adkins has only won 2 games in 12 with us.

Just sayin......

What's the rush.

Anyway, it's style of football that counts, not points.

You talk so much Shit its unbelievable

So tell what shit is in my post then?

Before todays match nobody was complaining, we have had one bad result, it happens.

We have bought in an American international midfielder, the best LB in the Champ last season, and a former Madrid player who we can see is class.
We all know that splashing the cash is not neccesarily the way forward, Look at QPR last year, yes I agree we may need one or two more to strengthen the squad but to call this a bad Window and to Say Anton needs to splash the cash is complete Bollocks.

Before today's result we were on the boundary of an acceptable start to the season. 5 points from 9 with two home games was only just about acceptable due to us being 'unlucky' in games or playing against decent opposition.

5 points from 12 is not an acceptable start to the season.

A large part of bringing Adkins in before the end of last season was so we got off to a good start this season. Well we haven't.

Ian Royal That sounded absolutely terrible. Poor football, bugger all goal threat. Excitement from Drenthe but no end product. Silly mistakes at the back to conceed. Blackman has had one good game, in a fluid 4-4-2 diamond. He cannot play up on his own, he offers so very little.

MUST DO BETTER.

THIS. This completely summed up that game. What a waste of time and money.. Two shots on target the whole game. Such a shite game, we never looked dangerous at all.

I'd rather he play Marriappa and Kelly next Saturday, the league is what matters.

Yeah  at changing the defence after four poor displays in a row.

We have no back up left back, it is not an option to drop Bridge.

Just the 94 goals left to secure promotion then Nigel. That's only 2.24 goals per game. The answer is quite simple... ALFIE>>>BLACKMAN.

And please spare me the notion that we're looking at bringing a couple of lads in next week. We won't be spending anything like enough money to secure promotion. We'll aim to do it on the cheap again, and you sir will look a mug come the summer after your pre-season hype.

A defeat gives more license for change though, and before today the performances had generally been pretty good.

Doing it on the cheap seemed to work out okay last time we were in the Championship.
