Something we can probably all agree on, Yeovil's Jamie McAllister is a knob! That is all..........

In my view, it was a crazy challenge on Le Fondre and a genuine penalty.

I have nothing to add here except to say it is the first time I have ever purchased a match ticket and not gone. Genuinely disappointed my 20 month old boy chose Friday to infect me with his viral bug rendering my whole Saturday a shitting, chundering nightmare.

Now that explains why I didn't see you. Hope you feel better so

To make to better... There are far better games to go to so don't be dis-heartened. As amazing support but not the most amazing day out

Royal91
yuomi For all the shite the Pog gets for being abject, lazy and unthreatening- Blackman is worse on pretty much every level. He doesn't even break the game up and harrass defenders in the way Pog did in the PL last season (pretty much his main contribution as I recall, other than looking sulky). In the time he has been here Blackman has contributed nothing and, on the evidence of yesterday's performance, not improved or developed as a player. It is astonishing to me that this kneejerk signing is still commanding a salary. To think there are still people who defend him and mutter phrases like 'huge potential' and 'time to develop'? Deluded claptrap. He makes Bambi look surefooted and has the eye for goal of Tony Hibbert. Ship him out, humanely euthenise him? Do what you have to, just stop subjecting us to watching his vague attempts at coordination and contribution.

That aside, we went west and committed a robbery yesterday. There is no way we can go anywhere else in this division, play that badly, and get on the coach after without our arses in a doggybag for the journey home. Gunter is a downright unsettling 'player' to watch and, but for the presence of McCarthy (please got let the window shut before a PL team comes forward with realistic money for him), we would have been out of it by half time. Worst game for Royston by a mile, you can't help but think he's starting to wonder if this experiment is working, body language starting to be reiminiscent of the Pog towards the end.

All in all, I hope that was a one off. We can't play that badly all year or we'll go down.

You're a oxf*rd oxf*rd.

Couldn't disagree with what you said more.

So what you're saying (in addition to my being a oxf*rd oxf*rd of course, for which i plead no contest)is that yesterady was a thoroughly deserved win off the back of a fantastic performance, Blackman is prolific and wins matches for us single handed, McCarthy should go before the end of the window and that was Royston's best game in a Reading shirt?

Highlight of the day was undoubtedly the chap in the 4x4 with the trailer stopping to lets fans pile into said 4x4/onto said trailer and proceeding to drop them in the town centre! That sodding road from the station to the town was ridiculous. London based Yeovil fans on the train were explaining how everything about YTFC off the pitch and the town in the general is still totally geared towards non-league football. I couldn't agree more. Glad I've done it to tick Huish Park off, but I won't be going again.

On top of the crap travel and crap town, the game was crap, we were crap, they were crap, the ref was crap. If you weren't there that's all you need to know.

... and the sodding traffic on the A303 - to me 4 hours to get there and only just made kickoff by 15 minutes

Next time I recommend going down the M4 to Chippenham and then cut down to the A303 via Melksham and Trowbridge. Much quicker.

I didn't have any trouble driving down the A303, although I did get lost and accidentally come off early ending up driving through Salisbury.

We had a great day out despite the crappy ground location and awful football.

Train on the way down was packed, nice walk into Yeovil from the station. Funny antics involving taxis/farmers/a minibus. Wetherspoons was rammed, but still managed to serve up outstanding Gammon & Chips. Their staff took us in good humor despite us bringing "the largest and loudest support" they had ever experienced. Left it late leaving the pub for the match, got lost, asked for directions off a local on his way home from shopping and he offered to drop us down the ground - result! Game was shit, atmosphere subdued compared to in town and on the trains. Waited ages for a bus back after the game, but once back in town a bus driver decided to skip his break and run us down to the station in time for our train. Cheers Graham. Must say the locals went out their way to make us welcome in every way. Train back was lively, good banter.

A great weekend away; shame about the utter drivel dished out on the pitch.

I know it was a clean sheet, and I know it's 3 points, but spare me the cliche about the sign of a good team is that it wins when playing badly......we were abject; utterly bereft of confidence, style, tactics or leadership. There appears to me to be a problem in the changing room; after one (of many) chances Yeovil had in the 2nd half, at least 3 Reading players were stood around having a go at each other!

Not a good sign.

Looked like a clumsy challenge on ALF for the penalty, but that was the only way we were going to score; what the hell has happened since half-time v Watford? We look a totally different team!

Whilst it was a nightmare getting away from the ground, the stewards both in the car park and at the ground were excellent; friendly with no attitude whatsoever. Made it a pleasure to visit an away ground for a change.
