Which is your favourite CM combo? Please state why.

I chose Karacan and Williams. Williams is in good form, and Karacan has always been class.

This is a stupid poll as it's too hypothetical .... a lot of people won't choose Guthrie as he's out of form, but 2 months ago everyone would have chosen him. As regards Karacan - he's injured and who knows how good he'll be when he returns ...

Hey, good point. Perhaps I need to elaborate on the title. Who would you pick if they were all fit?

I chose Karacan and Williams. Williams is in good form, and Karacan has always been class.

Karacan isn't class. He's a high-tempo grafter, a hustler, but class he most certainly isn't. I do like him though!

You've added Leigertwood who will never play for the club again. The guy is knackered and out of contract in the summer.

I went for Karacan & Guthrie. Started the season brilliantly together.

Has to be Karacan & Guthrie. Looked very good together at the start of the season, although (if we resign him) Baird and Guthrie would be a good shout, Guthrie got forward more when Baird was in the side and always looked very good going forward.

On current form and fitness - Akpan and Williams.

However I would class Karacan as our best and most consistent all round midfielder when fit.

The Karacan and Gurhrie partnership looked good, as did the Karacan and Leigerwood partnership a couple of seasons ago - He seems to be able partner well with whowever he's alongside and adapt his game accordingly, which brings out the best in his midfield partner.
