Tony Le Mesmer Time for annual monitoring of 2 proud club records.
13 wins from the start of the season
106 points in a football league season
Given that 14 wins in a row is the most any team has ever achieved at any time in English Professional football, I very much doubt the 13 wins from a season's start will ever topple.
As for 106, it will go, and maybe this year. A big Prem side getting relegated when they really shouldn't is always going to be the biggest threat.

Tony Le MesmerWinchester Royal In 1946 Doncaster won 33 games, drew 6 and lost 3, giving 105 points under the current system. This was achieved in a 42 game season, giving a better points per game record over the course of the season than the 106 team.
In a season where half the male population in their 20's were either dead or injured, this probably gives Doncaster an unwanted record of having the most amount of deserters in their town. And 105 < 106.

Snowball Great to see both Newcastle and Villa start with a defeat.
Norwich started very well, though

Maneki Neko you don't suddenly go from being utter dogshit and getting relegated to walking a division like the championship right from the off.
imo

They did, was impressed from what I saw. Should say that I have a feeling Blackburn will be very bad this season.

Brum Royal United v City is the first game after the international break so at least one of them will loose their 100% record, and Chelsea make the third team left with 3 out of 3 so far.
