Westwood52 Mathew Syed s father in law, bemoaned Brentford’s three play losses. He should cocoa.I have been to four play off losses, plus an FA Cup semi final loss. The Synod Cup win seems like another world.
That said I hope Brentford get over the line this time.Swansea are one of the worst teams I have ever seen.

Brentford have lost in 4 play-off finals just like us but they also have 5 semi-final defeats to our 3.
Brentford have the most play-off appearances without earning promotion and can make it an even 10 if they lose to Swansea.

I can only recall two semi final defeats to Wolves and Burnley.

Sorry my mistake, for some reason I was telling myself Walsall was a semi-final defeat.
So we're pretty good at getting to finals in that case.

Mid Sussex Royal From the wiki link:
Reading, Brentford, Leeds United, Bristol City and Sheffield United are the only clubs to have lost play-off finals at three different venues.
Where's the third venue?? Do new & old Wembley count as 2?

Forbury Lion Sounds like the only chance Brentford have of winning a playoff final is if they come up against Reading or at the very least they will lose to a club and set of fans who can genuinely sympathise with their pain.
