He has shown loyalty in the sense that this is his job and all managers are loyal as it’s better to be sacked and get a pay off than resign

At least another 2 games before he gets his initial review.

He needs a couple of wins though. Or at least no more defeats.

Agreed, 4 points from the next 2 is the minimum that are acceptable.

Lose to Burton and any excuses such as....it's a young team, their inexperienced, we have no mone y, we are under embargo etc are invalid. He will be finished for me....the sooner the better before we face Oxford as well.

So, by extension, if we lose to Burton, the team will have aged dramatically, suddenly be experienced, have won the lottery and had the embargo lifted

You guys are hilarious. This club is a basket case. Changing the manager now? Would be like trying to stop a water leak with a piece of chewing gum.

Total senior league appearances before the start of this season, of our starting XI at Blackpool. Some might be off, but ballpark.

Mola 18
Bindon 0 (technically maybe some in NZ)
Abbey 2
Savage 15
Elliott 0
Ballard 2
Azeez 14
Ehibhatiomhan 8

And we can do similar with our bench.

Can we please bin off the notion that we should be achieving anything at all with this bunch of players?

No they’re not.

They're absolutely all valid. But probably not sufficient to make up for losing to 21st place Burton at home and making it 6 defeats in 9 league games.

Not that it should be an instant dismissal.

It would be very worrying though.

No point borrowing trouble until it happens.

Oh I thought we were away  yeah I’d expect 3 pts in this one tbh, wouldn’t have a heart attack if we didn’t though.

The performance of the team and manager is now frankly a side-show to the ownership. Would rather see Dai gone and us finish 20th than him stay and finish 7th.

The problem with Selles Out is that nobody will want to touch us with a barge pole, even Paul Ince would think twice about coming back.

The manager in my opinion needs to realise that playing away from home may require different tactics, If we can at least start getting draws that'll be progress.

I don't know if that is necessarily true. It would be a good job for a manager who is looking to get back into the game after a bit of time out or a younger manager from League 2 or National League, very little pressure on them if things go tits up with Selles.
