well it all seemed to have started with Huang Kad who posted it was going to be today, then that jamie hodder guy confirmed he had heard the same. and it just exploded from there. Seems this Huang guy has got twitter on strings

You sly boots

I started the account as a bit of fun. and it kinda got out of hand  I would say I’m not proud of what I did. But tbh, I am. Although after 11 years I must admit it was becoming a chore

Are you gonna continue with the gif opinionator account?

Yeah jnr leon II and me were having exactly this conversation.

Whilst it was great seeing a full stadium the fcukers streaming out as soon as it got difficult was absolutely classic

I can confimred that my name isn't Gary and I don't live in Woodley.

Sadly I can't reveal any more information in order to protect my sauce.

You'll all be pleased to hear that I will continue sharing my vague, 80% accurate ITK info for the foreseeable future.

Are the rumours true that you are going to change your username to "Elm Park Kad" in honour of our dearly departed Huang?

I should be changing it to "SCL Middle-aged Man".

This is the thing; the 3 lads behind me were constantly updating on the LO score and seemed heavily invested in our result, but then left when they scored the third. I guess there’s just a whole generation of people who started supporting us in the first Prem years, who now think anything below that is a waste of their time.

Scutterbucketz Anyway, despite the result today was a good day. I enjoyed The Amazons beforehand and there was a real party atmosphere about the place. It was great to see the home ends of the stadium packed and it made me proud to be a Reading fan and the result didn’t matter much to me.

However, when we went 3-1 down that bumper crowd started streaming out. I get it; the stadium can be a fukker to get away from, but today of all fukking days, with what we’ve all been through for the past few years; just stay and give the team a clap at the end. By the end I think we were back down to about this seasons usual attendance.

I rarely leave early, but the people I go with all wanted to go when it was 3-1, and I couldn't be arsed to stay. Wanted to get to the pub.

Didn't help that I was already in a bit of mood as some drunk little fukker puked on me in the queue to get :|

Brogue 11 years I kept Huang going. It was hard at times. You wouldn’t believe the amount of DM’s I got and the number of people who believed. I’m glad it’s done. We can move on. Today was the right time to retire him.

Goodnight sweet Prince.

Can we assume the perceived death threat was made up too? you had most of them on strings.

Tbh that’s just reality. They bought a ticket and put some money into the club

Had a couple of chaps sitting behind me who didn’t seem to recognise half the players but whatever really. Better than just having half a full stadium of die hards

Ah man. Where did he get you?

On the walk back to my car I passed a chap who was struggling on crutches. I got in the car and watched him for a few seconds in my mirror. His desperately laboured walk made me decide to offer him a lift to wherever he was going. So I got out and walked back up the road to him. Just as the words “Excuse me ma…..” left my mouth I noticed he had pissed his jeans rather badly. Looking quickly upwards the glaze of a good days drinking was across his face. So, with my daughters in the car, I made the snap decision to raise my eyes higher again and pretend I hadn’t said a thing as I looked into the distance.

Part of me still thinks I should have helped him, but couldn’t take the chance with my kids in the car. Anyway, that’s my long winded way of getting to the point that yesterday’s game seemed to be much more boozy than most, for obvious reasons.

Agree, but don’t cosplay with the chant as you’re leaving 20 minutes before the final whistle and walking up the steps away from the pitch.

I always remember that anyone who left 10 minutes before the end of “that” Bristol Rovers game would’ve missed two goals!

Or have a sustained period of good times that brings back younger fans and those who became more disillusioned in the last 10 years.

West Ham fans* turning up because it might be interesting doesn’t really do it for me.

*see also Spurs/Liverpool etc
