Now guaranteed we finish in 8th, and that point today was the 1st points gained from any team other than the bottom 2.

Great result. Well deserved. Just shows what adding a little bit of quality can do for the whole team. If only we'd managed to get the sisters earlier in the season!

Was at the game. Big local derby. Very entertaining game Reading have improved since the meeting earlier in the season. I would think with a full pre season and a chance to recruit new player’s they could well be a force next season.

Certainly a pathetic second half performance. Also, once again, seemingly a pathetic turn out by players. Hopefully next season they can find some players who actually want to play week in week out for the team/club.

If it's rolling subs at this level it's little wonder that those who do turn up get hammered when their opponents have a full bench and can rotate players so that none (other than perhaps the keeper) end up playing for much more than an hour out of the 90.

The twins i think are away on international duty.
Not that it really matters but the bottom 2 also lost today.

Blackburn Rovers Women's Fc might sadly be going the same way as the Royals. Financial problems could see them withdrawing from the Women's Championship. They are in discussions with the WSL who are in charge of the top 2 divisions in Women’s football.
On a different topic London City Lionesses became the 1st independent club to advance to the WSL. It will be interesting how they approach it.
Unfortunately the Women’s game seems to follow the Mens game as the gulf between the Championship and the top division is vast, as Crystal Palace only lasted this season in the WSL before being relegated back to the Championship.

They're sacking off the 'Championship' and renaming it Women's Super League 2 for next season. Be great if Durham could join the London City Lionesses in the top division.

Money troubles or Blackburn saying we don’t want to pay to meet all the new criteria coming in ?
Looks a little, like what is happening in non league. Clubs are being expected to meet all sorts of non footballing criteria, often that are totally pointless. Means promotions are being decided on the basis on have you got enough covered seating and are your pies up to scratch.
