Not ashamed to admit gents that I have a tear in my eye! Sincerely never thought this day would come and we would have to perhaps start a phoenix club like Bury did, seriously.

Alas though, it did! Rob and company haved saved our club and that is the main thing. Is he gonna spend a ton? No. But he did very well with Wycombe imo and knows how to keep a club stable and competitive; that is what we need.

We stuck together as fans in the darkest times and now we have light!

Enjoy it friends,as will I with a mixed drink....or two later haha.


P.S. Just to give another plug haha. As I put in an earlier post on the forum, I am running a USA Supporters Group. Well anyway that account was locked for some reason, so I started another one on X for all North American Supporters(_naroyals). Please give that a follow if you want and spread the word. I often listen to Talksport during the day so I could hear on there

Twitter is blocked at work so unless I see it on there during a break it shouldn't be via that route

It could be on HNA as I do check here quite regularly during the day (this is how I'd like to find out)

Is there any chance the Club would email out to their loyal supporters before announcing it on their website

Or will Trev from work phone me as it's been announced on BBCRB and that's the station he's tuned to

Reading Football Club under new ownership
The EFL can today confirm that it has provided the final clearance required in accordance with its Regulations that places Reading Football Club under the new ownership of Rob Couhig and Todd Trosclair (Redwood Holdings Limited).

Over recent weeks the League has worked closely with all parties to facilitate a timely transfer of ownership in order to end the uncertainty surrounding the Club's future for its staff, supporters and wider community.

The sale of the Club follows the disqualification of the Clubs previous owner under the EFL’s Owners’ and Directors’ Test in February of this year.

We look forward to working closely with the new ownership group and wish the Club and its supporters a successful future following a difficult period for all associated with the Club.
