Royalwaster I don't think that was the point he was making - he was basically saying: 'The job's not done yet' - you can celebrate when we win the next game, which they did.
I know that, I completely get that bit but I just think it's ridiculous. The way he physically shoved the players off the pitch while they were acknowledging the away fans just came across as performative and unnecessary. Everyone knows the tie isn’t over, but forcing that moment like that felt a bit ridiculous.
Players put in a real effort and were thanking the fans. The fans - who travelled in good numbers were celebrating and acknowleding the player's efforts/win. I don't think it helps to prematurely stop all this because there's a second leg in about 5 days time and "it's not over".
