This has so far proven a pointless signing. I feel like he could add something to the side, but if he's not fit enough after a month, will he ever play?

Er... he has played. Presumably the reason he wasn’t in the squad today is because he's off to Africa shortly.

Richardson said they were still “getting him up to speed”. Seems odd that Fraser is considered fitter and even Williams who joined at the same time. Don’t know if the latter had a pre-season somewhere but he looks fitter than anyone.

It's a bizarre thing to say when he's been on the bench multiple times and brought on to see out a game with a clean sheet. And he looked fine albeit in only a few minutes.
