John Smith Nottingham Forest 3-4 Reading - 9th April 2011

End to end, the lead chopping and changing, then Si Church with an injury time winner. Sunny day on the river too.

Whatever happened to Forest?

Leicester 1 Reading 1

The game that actually clinched our promotion to the top division. Not that special a game, but the atmosphere, the significance, just the most awesome memory. You could feel the stand moving as everybody bounced together at the end. Still makes me shiver today!

Waiting for confirmation after the final whistle was awesome, I already knew because a mate texted me. but when it happened, bedlam.

Leicester away and Robin Friday v Tranmere already mentioned, those are my favourites. Damn, Forest away 4-3 also already mentioned. Went to all three.

Thinks

Cambridge away, 2-2 to get promoted, same season as Friday/ Tranmere. My favourite season ever. Started with phantom goal v Rochdale.

AthleticoSpizz
Snowball My history only starts at 2006 but I think my favourite game was Liverpool 1-2 in the FA cup replay: brilliant Gunnarson? nutmeg, then cross for Shane to score the winner.

What was the game where McAnuff dribbled the length of the pitch but didn't score?
the same game iirc

yup, one of those moments

loved that game, everything about it was great fun. IIRC, only decided to go at last minute with rabidbee providing the wheels.

3-2 vs Boro
6-0 vs West Ham

Highlights of our greatest ever season

3-1 vs Liverpool, obviously a bit of a downer as it's the relegation season but still fondly remember the crowd basically ushering Harper into the goal for the third.

1-2 vs Arsenal just for the equaliser, maddest celebrations I've been involved in.

4-3 vs Forest, already mentioned but crazy game, hugely enjoyable.

3-2 vs Wigan, game was mad and basically sealed our safety with a great turnaround as far as I remember.
