Mmmmmmm - the guy is showing us some respect isn't he??

Reading FC has never, and will never, be a top flight club. They have neither the infrastructure, support or finances to match even a pre-Lerner Villa. The relative positions of the two clubs last season is irrelevant, apart from anything else there is a marked jump in quality from Championship to Premiereship. I repeat, there can be no excuses if we are beaten

:D

Apparantly we will never be a top flight club............sorry, but I'm sure we are currently a top flight club, or did I get that wrong?

I have no doubt that the motivation guys working with the club will have noticed this, and similar, articles dissing the club and the players and will bring it to the attention of the team.

For any Villa fan to think it will be easy (they all give lip service to the "there are no easy games" cliche, then go on to say how easy it will be!!) is great; they are in for a surprise tonight!!!

As the man said; bring it on.

Whislt these idiot opposition fans writing off "little" Reading as soon as the fixtures come out is really quite annoying, I think it does nothing but help us. Comments about never being a top flight club will only serve to get the fans and team really fired up for this one. I'm quite happy for people (fans and pundits) to write us off all season.

If anyone is in doubt as to Villa being an easy tie tonight, I point you in the direction of our record against them. A draw tonight will be an excellent result, especially with Lita and Doyle playing up front together. I think a bonus for us would be if it lashes it down, our experience in lower league football could come in useful.
